President Donald Trump was able to score $4 million in government subsidies from the U.K. government during the 2020 pandemic because his Scottish golf course was floundering.

BusinessInsider cited published company accounts in a Monday report revealing Trump Turnberry in Ayrshire slashed 273 jobs in 2020, while also claiming $3.7 million in furlough support. Then they scored an additional chunk of change in bailout dollars.

The House Select Committee investigating Jan. 6 is reportedly looking closer at the phone calls that former President Donald Trump made to the so-called "war room" his supporters set up at the Willard Hotel in Washington D.C.

Guardian reporter Hugo Lowell is now reporting that it wasn't just a single war room with all of the Trump allies together working in a single suite -- in fact, there were several war rooms set up.

"First, that pretzel was Candace Owens explaining to her viewers — trying to explain what President Trump spoke," Hoover said. "She's really his unofficial spokesperson. Former President Trump spoke to the truth that vaccines work in an attempt to try to take credit for [himself], which is fine. But [Owens] now has to clean up his mess because her viewers and those subscribers and the people that watch The Daily Wire and are stuck in these conservative silo ecosystems believe that she is right and he is wrong."

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) was nearly the victim of a kidnapping and assassination plot after far-right militia members were enraged by the COVID-19 lockdowns and mask mandates. Michigan was one of the many early states to have massive outbreaks early on in the pandemic. The thwarted attack came after some of the Wolverine Watchmen militia members turned out to be FBI informants.

Now, those allegedly responsible for plotting the effort are trying to get charges against them dismissed because they think the federal authorities are "overreaching," The Detroit News reported Sunday.
