A Connecticut mother is upset after a video shows a man pushing her son off a bicycle, Fox61 reports.
The video shows 11-year-old Daniel Duncan, who is Black, falling to the ground after 48-year-old Jameson Chapman pushes him off his bike.
"Where did you grow up? Did you grow up in Connecticut?” Chapman asks Duncan in the video. After Duncan responded, “No,” Chapman is heard telling the child to “get the f*** out of my town.”
Duncan told police they he was riding his bike when Chapman bumped into his friend and became confrontational.

Chapman now faces charges of third-degree assault, risk of injury to a child, and second-degree breach of peace charges. He was released from custody on a $10,000 bail.
“I watched a couple seconds of the video and I went into total shock,” Duncan’s mom Desiree Dominique said. “I could not contain my anger.”
The incident comes after a town message board was vandalized with derogatory terms towards people of color.
“I feel very upset. I feel anger. I feel sadness. I feel a sense of powerlessness,” she said, revealing that this isn't the first time her family has experienced bullying since moving to the town four years ago. She added that her son is now afraid to leave the house.

Nevada Republican caught on tape ranting Roe was 'sad' and 'a joke' that led to other bad laws

The Nevada Independent caught Republican Attorney General Adam Laxalt on tape during a political event promoting his campaign for U.S. Senate.
According to the GOP lawyer, the decision by the Supreme Court to restrict privacy rights for women by allowing states to make their own rules, was the right move. According to him, the Roe v. Wade precedent was "a joke" and "sad." He then implied that freedom led to many other bad decisions.
“Roe v. Wade was always a joke. It was a total, complete invention,” Laxalt said in the audio. “It has created decades and decades of political turmoil. Not to mention, the most important thing that it allowed across the country. So, I think its return back to the states is important.”
A statewide survey from Nevada Public Opinion Pulse (NVPOP) in 2021 showed that registered Nevada voters consider themselves pro-choice. Just 31 percent said that they consider themselves "pro-life." Even those who identified as "pro-life" said to the tune of 62 percent that they believed that abortion should be "legal in some cases." Only 26 percent said it should be illegal across the board.

Despite what he said to the pancake breakfast, Laxalt tweeted after the ruling saying that Nevada's laws on abortion are "settled law." The problem with the phrase, however, is that the same words, "settled law" doesn't mean that Laxalt wouldn't eliminate the law at the first opportunity.

As Columbia University law professor Katherine Franke told the Guardian, even if judicial nominees claimed Roe was “settled law,” “What it means is that that’s a decision from the Supreme Court, and I acknowledge that it exists. But it doesn’t carry any kind of significance beyond that.”
Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) is the incumbent that Laxalt is trying to remove and the race has been named as one of the top possible wins for Republicans in the country. The conservative RealClearPolitics called the seat a "toss-up."

GOP candidate flips out on Fox News for questioning her: 'Thought you were a little better than CNN'

Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who has said that drag queens are a danger to children, threw an on-air tantrum on Monday after being asked by Fox News host Brett Baier about her decades-long relationship with a drag queen.
The interview started with Baier casting doubt over Lake's widely-debunked claim that Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election by dint of widespread voter fraud. Baier specifically asked the gubernatorial hopeful to respond to footage of a recent January 6 hearing in which the Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers affirmed that there was no fraud to speak of.
"He is a Republican," Baier said. "He is a Trump supporter. And that's what he said."

"He is a RINO," Lake shot back, suggesting that Bowers was a Republican in name only. "And he hopefully will be defeated. He is an absolute RINO."

"I understand what you are saying," Baier responded. "But there have been, as you know, more than 70 court cases where there was not evidence and there was not any state legislature or governor that failed to certify an election, including your own Republican [Governor] Doug Ducey."
Lake then proceeded to claim that the GOP has not had any legitimate evidence until now.
Later in the interview, Baier pivoted to the subject of Lake's relationship with Richard Stevens, also known as Barbra Seville, citing an article by The Washington Post, which reported that Lake attended Stevens' shows for more than a decade.
"I've performed for Kari's birthday, I've performed in her home (with children present,) and I've performed for her at some of the seediest bars in Phoenix," Stevens wrote on Facebook earlier this month, according to the Post, which also released two pictures of Lake with Stevens.
"I actually do care to address that," Lake responded, visibly enraged. "But I'm really shocked. I'm actually appalled that Fox News would take a defamatory story like that – and we are pursuing legal action against this drag queen – I'm appalled that you would bring that up when you have not talked about our stolen election."
Lake specifically claimed that she has served Stevens with "defamation papers." But according to MeidasTouch, the Republican has only sent the performer a cease-and-desist letter.

Later in the interview, Lake claimed that she was "disappointed in Fox," the network that once Trumpeted the former president's election conspiracy theory but now appears to be backing away from it.
"I thought you were a little better than CNN," she added.
Lake, a former television journalist, has called for the imprisonment of Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobb as well as unspecified writers who, by her account, told lies about the 2020 election.
