JD Vance derided for saying ICE agents' disturbed lunch 'top of list' of MN horror stories

Vice President JD Vance was shamed for whining about federal agents getting interrupted at lunch after the fatal shooting of a second American in Minneapolis.

A Customs and Border Patrol officer shot and killed 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti at point-blank range during an operation Saturday, a week and a half after another officer shot a woman in the city. But Vance suggested that federal agents have been treated unfairly.

"When I was in Minneapolis, I heard a number of crazy stories. But near the top of the list: A couple of off-duty ICE and CBP officers were going to dinner in Minneapolis," Vance posted on X. "They were doxed and their location revealed, and the restaurant was then mobbed. The officers were locked in the restaurant, and local police refused to respond to their pleas for help (as they've been directed by local authorities). Eventually, their fellow federal agents came to their aid."

"This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement," he continued. "They have created the chaos so they can have moments like yesterday, where someone tragically dies and politicians get to grandstand about the evils of enforcing the border."

"The solution is staring everyone in the face," Vance added. "I hope authorities in Minneapolis stop this madness."

The vice president was hit with blowback for his complaint.

"Your 'solution' is to tell Americans obey the invasion of our communities by masked government agents as they abduct people and execute Americans in the street or else we will also get executed," said activist David Hogg. "Thats not a solution. It’s a violation of our rights. You are a tyrant."

"Do you hear yourself??" asked podcaster and former Barack Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau. "Your federal agents shot a man ten times and you’re complaining about their f---ing lunch being interrupted?? What the f--k is wrong with you??"

"What's insane is that that's apparently near 'the top of the list' of the 'crazy stories' he's heard," replied X user Bram Stroker. "He has f---ing nothing. They're siccing armed, violent thugs on American citizens and they know it."

"Let me make sure I have this right, because you flip flop all the time," posted podcaster Keith Flemming. "You were a liberal, then a republican. You said you fought for working class people, then you’re piling around with tech bro billionaires. Jan 6th protest and actual assault on federal officers… good Videotaping ICE officers… bad Kyle Rittenhouse crossing state lines, showing up to protest with semiautomatic rifle and killing people… good Alex Perriti in a right to carry state with his legally owned firearm in his holster… bad."

"Whoa they had a bad restaurant experience? that's really terrifying," noted podcaster Rob Rosseau.

"Is the solution you’re proposing that federal agents execute U.S. citizens on their knees with shots to the back and chest?" asked Democratic politician Christopher Hale.

"If this upsets you, wait until I tell you about the peaceful VA nurse who was protecting women before he was sprayed with chemicals, dragged to the ground and beaten before being shot in the back of the head and riddled with bullets," added popular X user JoJo from Jerz.
