Donald Trump once became so fixated on young women swimming at Jeffrey Epstein's house that he smacked his face into a glass door.

The now-president's name came up multiple times in emails written by the late sex offender in a tranche of evidence obtained from Epstein's estate by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, which has released some of the messages as lawmakers press for the Department of Justice to release evidence of his sex trafficking network.

"Read the [Buzzfeed] re my airplane logs and hawaiian tropic contest," Epstein wrote to then-New York Times reporter Landon Thomas Jr. on Dec. 8, 2015. "Have them ask my houseman about donald almost walking through the door leaving his nose print on the glass as young women were swimming in the pool and he was so focused he walked straight into the door."

Lawmakers released an additional 20,000 pages of documents Wednesday obtained by the GOP-led Oversight Committee from Epstein's estate, and new organizations have spent the day digging through the new evidence.

Epstein, who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on additional sex trafficking charges, mentioned Trump several times in emails to co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell and an author, saying that the future president "knew about the girls" who have alleged that he sexually abused them and trafficked them to friends.

The White House claimed that Democratic lawmakers had “selectively leaked” the messages to embarrass the president, and top Trump administration officials scheduled a meeting Wednesday to discuss House efforts to force a vote on releasing Justice Department files about Epstein's network.
