Authorities are learning new information about what happened in Waukesha, Wisconsin prior to a red SUV driving through a Christmas parade and killing five people and injuring over forty.

"Investigators are examining whether the person who drove an SUV through a Christmas parade in suburban Milwaukee may have been fleeing from a crime when he crashed into the paradegoers, a law enforcement official briefed on the matter told The Associated Press. The investigators were questioning a person in custody about that incident, which the official described as an altercation involving a knife," the Associated Press reported Monday.
