Never back down, but do feel free to resign.
That’s the message White House-hopeful Gov. Ron DeSantis received Wednesday when the chief of his main super PAC, Never Back Down, tendered his resignation, according to a new report.
Chris Jankowski, the chief executive of Never Back Down, resigned amid reports of mounting internal tensions and that the super PAC — barred from from coordinating with a presidential campaign — had funded some of DeSantis’ travel, the New York Times reports.

Never Back Down has also faced criticism from DeSantis allies that its insulting ad campaigns against fellow Republican candidates were to blame for the Florida governor’s disappointing poll numbers, according to the Times.
Jankowski’s resignation comes one day after NBC News reported two lead PAC members “almost came to blows” over how best to take down Nikki Haley.
The former Never Back Down chief was a political advisor to Leonard Leo and helped develop the Republican redistricting strategy Redmap.
