Trump-loving ‘Candy Man’ congressman demands President Biden take cognitive test

Despite a highly-successful eight-day overseas trip culminating with a U.S.-Russia Summit displaying his ability to right the national "ship" on the world stage, and despite favorable response from world leaders, President Joe Biden is being asked by a group of 14 Republican congressmen, led by Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), to take a cognitive test to judge his mental acuity.

It all feeds into the Fox News narrative, one blown to pieces by Biden's performance in the UK with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Queen Elizabeth, the G7 in Brussels, meeting with NATO leaders and separately with the president of Turkey, and finally to Geneva where he held the Summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Marjorie Taylor Greene files bill to eliminate ATF then attacks Biden over drug cartels – which ATF investigates

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Thursday announced she has filed a bill that would eliminate the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). One hour later in a spottily-attended press conference Greene angrily attacked President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, whom she falsely accused of allowing the U.S. southern border to be "wide open" to allow drug trafficking.

"President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are in business with the cartels," Greene declared, lying to reporters. "They are in business with the criminals. Because their border policies, of ripping our southern border wide open is allowing the cartels to get rich beyond their wildest dreams, as they traffic humans and drugs across our border."

The 'Big Lie' has become a GOP litmus test in these 2 major statewide Pennsylvania races

In 2022, the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania will have two major statewide races: a U.S. Senate race and a gubernatorial race. In an article published by The Bulwark on June 17, Never Trump conservative Amanda Carpenter examines the Republican primaries in those races — lamenting that in both of them, promoting the Big Lie has become a litmus test.

"Former President Donald Trump is watching Pennsylvania," Carpenter explains. "Like every other campaign observer, Trump knows that the Keystone State unlocks presidential victories — and that Joe Biden's 50.0-48.8% victory there put him over the 270 votes needed to win the Electoral College. Why does that matter now? With Gov. Tom Wolf term-limited and Sen. Pat Toomey not running for reelection, Pennsylvania has two major statewide offices up for grabs in 2022."

Newsmax host predicts states will ‘rebel’ against Biden as insurrectionist rhetoric continues

On the far-right cable network Newsmax Thursday, talk show host and self-styled "Liberty Loving Latino" Chris Salcedo suggested that states will enter into "rebellion" against President Joe Biden — and likened it to the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars.

"As socialist Democrats show their hatred for our Constitution, the rule of law, and our country, as they show their hatred for our people, an awakening is occurring," said Salcedo. "It's an awakening that the Biden Press can't hide. Despite the left-wing media's best efforts, the American people — Blacks, Latinos, Whites, and Asians — they're starting to connect their misery to the socialist Democrat policies that are causing that misery."

Ex-Trump doctor demands Biden endure cognitive test ex-president took: 'Person, woman, man, camera TV'

Conservative Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson announced Thursday that he wants President Joe Biden to take a cognitive test to prove his mental stability.

Far-right activist Charlie Kirk caught by ex-congressman in hilarious hypocrisy over Juneteenth

Far-right activist Charlie Kirk was called out by former Rep. Justin Amash (L-MI) for spending years promoting Juneteenth, only to then decide maybe he didn't support it after all.

Among the tweets that Amash posted, just one year ago, Kirk was celebrating Juneteenth, saying that it was made possible by Republicans. That's actually factually incorrect, as there weren't enough Republicans in the House at the time to easily pass the legislation. Republicans needed a two-thirds vote to pass the law, requiring support from the border-state Democrats and members of the Union Democratic Party.

Juneteenth is a 'hollow' victory as Republicans like Josh Hawley push racist oppression: analysis

President Joe Biden signed legislation commemorating Juneteenth as a national holiday, but it comes against the backdrop of GOP voter suppression, Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson explained on Thursday.

"Making Juneteenth, the anniversary of the day news of emancipation finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, Tex., a national holiday is a victory. But it is a hollow one at a moment when the political party that won the Civil War and made that freedom a permanent reality is now moving heaven and earth to keep African Americans from voting," he explained.

'Neoliberal proto-fascism': Noam Chomsky explains how Trumpism has made the GOP a 'white supremacist' cult

Over the years, left-wing author Noam Chomsky has been vehemently critical of both Democrats and Republicans, slamming the United States' two major political parties as servants of Wall Street, big business and the 1%. But during an interview with Truthout's C.J. Polychroniou published on June 16, Chomsky's criticism of the GOP went beyond his usual critiques of conservative economic policy. The Philadelphia-born Chomsky, now 92, argued that big chunks of the modern Republican Party have become "proto-fascist."

"The fascist symptoms are there, including extreme racism, violence, worship of the leader — sent by God, according to former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo — immersion in a world of 'alternative facts' and a frenzy of irrationality," Chomsky warned. "Also in other ways, such as the extraordinary efforts in Republican-run states to suppress teaching in schools that doesn't conform to their White supremacist doctrines."

Military expert: Russians will eventually 'leak' what they 'had to control Trump'

During President Joe Biden's trip to Europe, it has been obvious how greatly he differs from former President Donald Trump in terms of foreign policy. While Trump was favorable to Putin and openly hostile to the United States' long-time NATO allies, Biden has stressed how much he values the United States' relationship with NATO and has been much more critical of Putin. Gen. Barry McCaffrey, a military analyst for MSNBC, discussed Biden's meeting with Putin during a Wednesday, June 16 appearance on MSNBC's "The 11th Hour" — and stressed how great a contrast it was to the Trump era.

McCaffrey told host Brian Williams, "I think, without question, that President Biden and his senior team were right to engage with the Russians and to meet Putin. There's no question we have to have an ongoing dialogue with Putin."

Ex-police chief who stormed the Capitol used his tax-exempt charity to promote violence and spread conspiracy theories: feds

Former California police chief Alan Hostetter who has been charged with rioting at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 formed a charity that he presented to the IRS last year as a organization meant to defend "human and civil rights" and educate the public about vaccines.
