Lindsey Graham serves up twisted Hitler analogy to attack Biden over Putin

There was a time, not long ago, when war was approaching that America's elected leaders would unite, and any attacks on the President of the United States, regardless of party, were seen as an attack on America itself.

But that threat of condemnation was not reserved to elected leaders. The Dixie Chicks famously saw this first hand when they appeared on a London stage in 2003 to declare their opposition to war in Iraq and announced they were "ashamed" of President George W. Bush.

MSNBC host: Disastrous foreign policy leaves the US with less 'credibility' to condemn Russia

MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan argued in a monologue Monday night that the United States would have "more credibility" to condemn the recent actions of Russia in Ukraine if it wasn't currently supporting illegal occupations by its allies around the world—and if it didn't have its own long record of carrying out brazenly unlawful invasions of sovereign countries.

"I'd just like us to be consistent in our approach to illegal invasions and occupations."

Steve Schmidt blows conservative out of the water for claiming Putin was 'frightened' of Trump

Following Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to send troops into Donetsk and Luhansk as part of his incursion into Ukraine, National Review editor-in-chief Rich Lowry tweeted out that Putin likely made the move because Trump is out of office and the Russian strongman was "frightened' by the ex-president's unpredictability.

That, in turn, led to a scathing response from former Republican campaign consultant Steve Schmidt, who let Lowry know, in no uncertain terms, that he regards Trump as "a whore ... who would sell out his country; her values and ideals for nothing but flattery."
