Donald Trump on Friday was hit with an order to pay more than $350 million in connection with his civil fraud case, prompting his right-wing loyalists to completely melt down.
Earlier in the day, New York Justice Arthur Engoron ordered the former president pay $364 million in damages in the civil fraud lawsuit filed by state Attorney General Letitia James. Trump attorney Alina Habba called the verdict a "manifest injustice."
Fellow right-wing internet users also thought the major hit was a travesty.

"Predictably, Democrat New York AG Tish James and Manhattan Judge Arthur Engoron—two hyper-partisan Democrat clowns—are attempting to destroy Trump and his businesses," insisted Mike Davis.
"This is part of the Democrats’ lawfare and election interference, because they fear voters on November 5, 2024."
Talk show host Joe Pagliarulo argued the ruling was proof that James and Engoron were "horrible human beings."
"[Trump] should move all of his businesses to Florida," said Pagliarulo. "NY is losing people faster than anyone else. The tax base is running from that state!"
This is in an option Trump may be forced to consider under law, as Engoron has barred him from doing business in New York for three years.
Among the MAGAs enjoying a social media meltdown was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who published a lengthy response in support of her favorite former president.
"This is outrageous!" declared Greene. "The entire case is built off the ABSURD claim that President Trump’s first-class Mar-a-Lago, situated on some of the most expensive property in the country and the world, is worth only $18M."
As Engoron's 92-page ruling explains, the case was also built on Trump Organization financial statements, expert and witness testimony presented in a months-long trial, and a Trump Tower penthouse purported to be three times its actual size.
This did not stop Greene from characterizing the civil court case as a witch hunt.
"This sham persecution is Letitia James fulfilling her campaign promise to go after Trump — a nasty woman!" Greene wrote. "These people belong in jail for the abuse of power they are wielding against President Trump and his family."
These accusations were countered by X user Brian Krassenstein, who shared a viral video of Engoron beaming in the courtroom at a calm and composed James.
"I'm sure people are going to say that the Judge is 'biased' and the judicial system is 'weaponized'" wrote Krassenstein. "Newsflash: This is called Law and Order. If you commit fraud you pay the price... in this case dearly."
