Violence-inciting GOPers are complicating security surrounding Trump Florida arraignment

According to a report from CNN, government officials seeking to secure the areas surrounding a Florida courthouse where Donald Trump is expected to be arraigned are having their efforts complicated by GOP lawmakers and conservatives who have been making rumblings about taking up arms in protest.

CNN host Rahel Soloman began by sharing a clip of failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake telling a crowd, "If you want to get to President Trump, you’re going to have to go through me, and you’re going to have to go through 75 million Americans just like me. And I’m going to tell you, most of us are card-carrying members of the NRA [National Rifle Association]."

"That’s not a threat – that’s a public service." She later added, "We will not let you lay a finger on President Trump. Frankly, now is the time to cling to our guns and our religion."
