Trump goes after GOP Senate candidate: ‘People are very upset’

Donald Trump continues to complain about a leading Republican challenging Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) in the 2022 midterm elections.

Trump has pressured Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R-AZ) to investigate his debunked lies about voter fraud, even after the widely ridiculed Cyber Ninjas audit of Maricopa County confirmed he lost the election to Joe Biden.

But instead of conceding defeat, Trump demanded action from Brnovich.

"This is a major criminal event and should be investigated by the Attorney General immediately," Trump said after the audit confirmed Biden's win.

And he has kept it up since then.

"The Presidential Election in Arizona (and in numerous states) was a Fraud," Trump falsely claimed in an Oct. 21 statement. "Maricopa County officials lied, and then tried to cover it up. Now they are facing criminal liability since defying a subpoena and deleting election records are serious crimes. Hopefully Attorney General Mark Brnovich will do something about it. Regardless, based on these findings, and many others, Arizona should decertify their Fake Election results immediately!"

More than a month later, Brnovich has not made arrests and the results have not been decertified, which is not even a real thing.

"Whatever happened to the Rigged and Stolen Arizona Presidential Election that is being investigated, or maybe the words should properly be 'looked at,' by Attorney General Mark Brnovich? When will the legislature vote to decertify?" Trump asked in a statement emailed to reporters on Tuesday.

"The people of Arizona are anxiously awaiting the decision of the Attorney General," Trump argued. "They know what really went on during that Election!"
