President Donald Trump is being roasted on multiple fronts this week – from Beijing to Capitol Hill – for his trade war and tariff threats.

In China, a fresh barrage of AI-generated videos mocking Trump’s policies have gone viral, including one featuring a robot named “Tariff” who self-destructs rather than carry out Trump’s trade orders, according to a new CNN report.

In yet another AI-generated Chinese clip targeting Trump, the president is portrayed as an anime-style “tariff-wielding superhero.”

The videos followed an earlier round of AI-generated clips showing Trump and Vice President JD Vance “hard at work in factories" that "have been flooding China's tightly controlled social media platforms for months,” according to CNN’s Will Ripley.

“All untouched by Beijing's army of online censors designed to push China's narrative, the U.S. is making a fool of itself and, more importantly, losing ground to China in the global trade war President Trump started.” The continued trolling from China comes as talks of a "likely crucial call" between Trump and China's president, Xi Jinping, loom, Ripley added.

The new wave of AI mockery also comes as the Democratic National Committee parked a chicken-themed taco truck outside GOP headquarters in D.C. The truck features the acronym TACO for "Trump Always Chickens Out," in relation to his tariff threats.
