As speculation continues about just who Donald Trump will pick as his vice presidential running mate, "The View's" Alyssa Farah Griffin suggested the Arkansas governor may be just the loyalist he wants.

MAGA is up in arms over the idea that Trump could choose Nikki Haley as a running mate. Griffin explained that conservatives see her as more of an establishment politician than one who bucks the system.

Joy Behar suggested that Trump appoint Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to "keep comedians in business for four years."

But Griffin said that Trump will choose a Black man or a woman.

"I don't think his people like Black people very much," quipped Sunny Hostin.

"I think the favorite is actually Sarah Huckabee Sanders, governor of Arkansas," Griffin said.

"He sees her as staff, but he's also seen her introduce huge crowds and gin up an audience. Elise Stefanik is being considered."

A problem with Stefanik, she explained, is that she was a Paul Ryan protégé and worked in the Bush White House "before she completely reversed the entire human being that she was."

"But I'll say this: if Nikki Haley agreed to be his vice president, I would take back my support of her immediately," Griffin continued. "I would not support that ticket. And I'm a little fearful she would do it because I know Jared and Ivanka have pushed that.

"And in June of 2020, he actually asked — Trump ask me in the Oval Office — if he should replace Mike Pence with Nikki Haley. So I know he thinks she's very qualified."

Hostin said that the one thing Trump loves is a loyalist and "shiny new things." That might be the catalyst for picking Stefanik.
