An activist revealed on Twitter that she was chased by a group of Proud Boys this weekend during an anti-vaccine protest.

As the video details, two women, in particular, who slapped at each other and purses were thrown into at least one face. Two children appeared to be linked to those involved.

The Dorchester District 2 School Board voted Wednesday evening to move all schools to seven days of virtual learning after Labor Day, over the objections of some parents and at least one board member, after 20 percent of the student body was reported out with positive COVID-19 tests or close contact and 264 staff absences, reported WCSC-TV.

Speaking to MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace about what Texas will become in the wake of the draconian law that will allow any person to sue someone for aiding in an abortion, former acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal said that it would lead to a "lynch mob" mentality among Texas residents.

"The whole point, Nicolle, is to prevent vigilante justice, to have a sense of rules, rights and obligations that can't be taken away by the lynch mob," he said. "We're not going to let state officials enforce this, just your neighbor or anyone down the street can just sue you if they think you had anything to do with an abortion. And the Supreme Court, five justices, notably not the Chief Justice, but, you know, the other Republican nominees on the court, all said, yeah, that's fine."

A North Carolina high school was locked down Wednesday afternoon following a shooting.

A Las Vegas man was arrested and charged with peddling a bogus "cure" for COVID-19, cancer and autism made with a dangerous chemical used to make bleach.

Elias Beltran Suarez was charged with acting as a medical practitioner without a license after police learned that he was manufacturing and selling "Miracle Mineral Solution" from his apartment, where investigators found several five-gallon buckets filled with liquid and a makeshift chemical lab, reported KLAS-TV.

Republicans attacked President Joe Biden over Afghanistan during a press conference on Tuesday, but they're having a hard time trying to decide what they are most angry at him about. While the administration got everyone out except a select few, those left behind were Afghani allies that many wanted the U.S. and other countries to do more to save.

MSNBC host Joy Reid on Tuesday compiled some videos showing violent and dangerous rhetoric popping up in school board meetings all over the United States.

While discussing the viral school board videos, Reid explained that this rage is fueled by right-wing think tanks and other Republican funders who have their own agenda in the COVID-19 crisis.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) continues to fight mask mandates and COVID-19 vaccine mandates as cases of Florida are so serious that some areas of the state announced that they were running out of oxygen.

DeSantis, whom foes have taken to calling "DeathSantis," has already started withholding money from two school districts that defied his mask ban. A total of ten school districts agreed to buck DeSantis, but he's only singling out two for punishment so far. Both of those counties voted Democrat in the 2020 election and in DeSantis' 2018 election.
