Rose McGowan has always been pro-women and a feminist, but in a surprise turn Sunday, she endorsed anti-woman Republican Larry Elder for governor in California.

McGowan once alleged that the wife of Gov. Gavin Newsom "tried to bribe" her before coming out about her experiences with Harvey Weinstein. That appears to have angered McGowan so much that she was willing to support a man who has frequently insulted women and even brandished a gun at his then-fiance.

President Donald Trump spoke to members of the Unification Church, at a rally sponsored by Universal Peace Federation, on Sept. 11. The Unification Church is a group which is widely considered to be a "cult" by former members and cult experts.

Speaking to CNN's Jim Acosta on Sunday, Dr. Mary Trump, the niece of former President Donald Trump, explained why her uncle was more focused on making money on Sept. 11 than he was about the victims and survivors on the 20th anniversary of such a horrific tragedy.

A Black woman attacked by Chicago police while walking her dog is speaking out about the terror she felt as he grabbed her.

The Daily Beast wrote about Nikkita Brown, who was walking her dog in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago last month when a police officer rolled up and told her she needed to leave. She said that she started to head for the exit of the park but that the officer wouldn't leave her alone, following and harassing her. The demand to exit the park didn't appear to extend to white people in the area, she explained.

Sean Spicer as well as other of President Donald Trump's appointees were asked to step down from their appointed posts this week by the new administration. Spicer, along with Kellyanne Conway and others, were appointed to the board of the Naval College, U.S. Air Force Academy, and other military academies.

In response, Spicer accused the Biden White House of insulting his patriotism. He said he would join a lawsuit against the administration. Discussing the ordeal, the co-hosts of "The View" told him to get over it and leave.

The women of "The View" slammed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) on Wednesday over his handling of the COVID-19 crisis in his state.

Whoopi Goldberg began the show saying that the state is outright "on fire" with the over-abundance of death.

"Six weeks pregnant means two weeks late for your period, and two weeks late on your period for any person, any person with a menstrual cycle can happen if you are stressed, if your diet changes, or for really no reason at all. So, you don't have six weeks," the congresswoman told Anderson Cooper.

CNN host John Avlon made an observation Wednesday that the post-Donald Trump Republican Party has thrown caution to the wind and is whipping out as much hypocrisy as they can muster.

Doing a commentary for the morning show, Avlon recalled the different sects of the former GOP like libertarians, evangelicals and the business community: they all wanted smaller top-down government. Meanwhile, Republican governors are running their states with the same top-down bureaucracy they once repelled.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough ripped Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's "preposterous" comments about eliminating rapes in his state.

The Republican governor justified his state's new abortion restrictions by saying rape victims would not be harmed because his administration would somehow stop sexual assaults, and the "Morning Joe" host was among many who were shocked and appalled.
