'Are we going to shoot someone?' cops ask while pointing guns at a baby during botched Florida raid

A video has been released showing a terrified mom and her 3-month-old baby as police pointed weapons at her while raiding her home. As it turns out, however, they went to the wrong house, Vice News said Tuesday citing a Fox 13 report.

It's a similar story that resulted in the murder of medical worker Breonna Taylor as Louisville police raided the wrong apartment. However, the white woman and her baby weren't fired on with a no-knock warrant. In this case, it was the U.S. Marshals who thought they were going to arrest a Florida man for homicide.

Fox News guest: Cinematographer's death is 'karma' for Alec Baldwin criticizing police

A Fox News guest who crusades against so-called "woke" culture this week said that the accidental killing of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was "karma" punishing actor Alec Baldwin because he criticized police shootings.

"I'm really sorry about what happened," Vivek Ramaswamy, author of "Woke, Inc.", told Fox News host Harris Faulkner. "There's a couple of layers of irony here. People leaving the set to protest unsafe working conditions, creating perhaps the most unsafe working condition of all. Somebody was shot on that set."

Lauren Boebert called out by CNN's Tapper for attempt to exploit the tragic death of Halyna Hutchins

In his concluding remarks at the end of Sunday's "State of the Union," CNN host Jake Tapper lit up Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) -- as well as a host of other Republicans -- for their appalling comments posted to Twitter after the tragic movie set shooting involving actor Alec Baldwin.

"There's something about our politics right now that is driving people away from our shared humanity," Tapper began as he shared Boebert's tweet on screen." Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado apparently spent time and did some digging about Baldwin's 'hands up, don't shoot movement' tweet; Baldwin, is, of course, not only progressive but very aggressive and outspoken about liberal issues, including gun control."

A gun was stolen from a small shop in Wisconsin — it has now been linked to 27 shootings in Chicago.

CHICAGO — With the solid crack of a crowbar, the hooded burglar sent the showcase glass showering onto the gun shop’s floor and quickly swept several pistols into his shoulder bag. Among the cache that New Year’s morning at a northern Wisconsin gun shop was a lightweight 9 mm handgun with a black polymer grip, a black steel slide and a 4 1/2-inch barrel. Appearing on MSNBC on Saturday afternoon -- and struggling through a glitchy video link -- former prosecutor Cynthia Alksne expressed disgust with Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) for comments she made about rape victims, implying that, had they been armed with a handgun, they never would have been sexually assaulted.

Boebert was attempting to make the case for overturning Roe v Wade.

Gun manufacturers quietly target young boys using social media

When Nikolas Cruz, a then-19-year-old from Parkland, Florida, stormed the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018 with a semi-automatic rifle, gunning down fourteen students and three staff in roughly six minutes, those unfamiliar with Cruz's personal history felt like the tragedy came out of nowhere. Cruz, like so many mass shooters, had exhibited all of the signs of someone to watch out for long before. Prosecutors found that Cruz had a well-documented affinity for guns and violence. He started playing violent video games as a middle school student, and sought to be a U.S. Army ranger, allegedly telling a family friend that he "wanted to join the military to kill people." Cruz was described by friends and family as being a highly impulsive teen prone to emotional outbursts often ending in violence. He was also known as an avid user of social media – particularly Instagram – which for years provided him a platform to boast about his gun collection as well as his proclivity for animal cruelty.
