WATCH: Video shows chaos in the streets of Austin as shooting leaves at least 13 injured

According to CNN, a late-night shooting on the busy streets of Austin, Texas left 13 injured -- two critically -- amid chaos as people attempted to flee.

CNN reports, "Six people were taken to a hospital by the Austin Police Department, and the Austin-Travis County EMS brought in four others for medial treatment, [Austin Interim Chief of Police Joseph] Chacon said. Three other victims brought themselves to the hospital."

Three shot — in the parking lot of a Louisiana police station: report

On Friday evening, KATC reported that police in Lafayette, Louisiana are responding to a triple shooting — that occurred in the parking lot of their own police headquarters.

"A spokesperson for the police department says three victims were hit by gunfire in the parking lot. No fatal injuries reported," said the report. "Witnesses say that the area is swarming with law enforcement officers and detours have been set up around the area."

Two killed, including child, in Florida shooting

Two people including a child were shot dead in a grocery store in Florida on Thursday, the latest in a series of shootings in the southern US state.

The shooting -- in which the gunman also killed himself -- occurred in a Publix grocery store in Royal Palm Beach, 80 miles (130 kilometers) north of Miami, police said.

New evidence was released on Thursday about the man accused of killing nine coworkers during a mass shooting in San Jose.

"The VTA released documents Thursday showing a history of insubordination and conflict at work for the man who opened fire on his colleagues, killing nine of them," ABC 7 reported. "The first batch of documents released show there were four incidents involving Sam Cassidy that were "elevated to management," some of which resulted in disciplinary action.

Authorities in Connecticut report a man is in custody after a shooting spree.

"A man is accused of shooting at buildings and homes in Southington, then leading police on a pursuit into Portland. Police identified the suspect as Douglas Floyd Gollnick, 74, of Plantsville. He remained in the hospital as of Monday morning," WFSB-TV reports.

The suspect in the deadliest mass shooting in the history of the San Francisco Bay Area sexually abused a former girlfriend, she said in a new interview with the San Francisco Chronicle.
