Jen Psaki sets the record straight on Republicans' complaints about nominating a Black woman to SCOTUS

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday pushed back against Republican complaints about President Joe Biden nominating a Black woman to the Supreme Court -- and she brought some receipts about Republicans' statements in 2020 when then-President Donald Trump pledged to nominate a woman to the Supreme Court.

After being asked about Republicans accusing Biden of playing identity politics with his Supreme Court pick, Psaki pointed out that there was no such controversy when Trump said he'd nominate a woman to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

'Schoolyard bully' Mike Lindell scorched by Dominion lawyers in new legal filing: report

With both sides stating that a settlement is not in the cards, attorneys for Dominion Voting Systems called out MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell in a legal filing on Monday, ridiculing him as a cowardly "schoolyard bully" trying to avoid the consequences of his actions.

Attorneys for the company urged the court to allow them to proceed with their billion-dollar defamation lawsuit against the midwestern bedding manufacturer who has accused them of helping Joe Biden steal the 2020 presidential election from Donald Trump.

GOP gubernatorial candidate Ryan Kelley told a crowd of supporters over the weekend that if election workers see something they “don’t like happening with the machine,” they should “unplug it from the wall.” He also said that he wants a “50-50” partisan division of election workers.

Kelley, who was at the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, was joined by Mike Detmer, a Republican state Senate candidate, who also told the Livingston County crowd to “be prepared to lock and load,” and “show up armed.”

Kyrsten Sinema now getting bankrolled by major GOP donors after helping spike Biden agenda

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) has gone from a lefty activist to a Republican darling in less than a year, and it appears some GOP donors are paying for the influence, Rolling Stone reported Monday.

"According to new FEC filings, Sinema brought in $1.6 million in Q4, only $33,983 of which was unitemized, which designates donations of less than $200 (i.e., ones from ordinary people)," the report said.

Russian media tells Trump they're 'ready to elect him again' amid spat with Biden

On Monday, The Daily Beast reported that Russian state media is openly longing for another Donald Trump presidency — at exactly the same time that the former president is promoting pro-Russian talking points about the threats to Ukraine.

New constitutional amendment could nullify GOP-led efforts to restrict voting in Michigan

A new ballot initiative filed with the Michigan Secretary of State Monday could nullify Republican-led efforts to restrict voting and enshrine a series of voting rights — including barring partisan interference in future elections — in the state’s constitution, election experts said Monday.

The “Promote the Vote 2022” ballot initiative would amend the state constitution to improve both security and access to the polls, including expanding early voting and allowing more time for military members to cast their ballots, voting rights leaders said at a Monday press conference. The initiative comes from Promote the Vote, the coalition behind Prop 3, a constitutional amendment Michigan voters from across the ideological spectrum passed in 2018 and which created no-reason absentee voting and same-day registration.

WATCH: Marjorie Taylor Greene melts down over Biden's promise to appoint a Black woman as Supreme Court justice

During an appearance on Steve Bannon's War Room show, Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed President Joe Biden over his pledge to nominate a Black woman to take the place of outgoing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. She also slammed GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC) for endorsing Biden's efforts.

"We want leaders in Washington that are actually going to do the job instead of beg and cry on television for small dollar donations when someone is actually trying to get them out of office," Greene said. "And so for Lindsey Graham to stand there on television and defend Joe Biden's pick for a Black justice on the Supreme Court, which is the most racist thing -- I thought we were done with racism in this country -- we should look at character, accomplishments, and he ability to do the job."

Trump just embarrassed Republicans who pretended he wasn’t trying to overturn the election: analysis

Republicans who pretended Donald Trump did not have the intent of overturning the 2020 election were embarrassed on Sunday night when the former leader of the free world issued an official statement complaining that Mike Pence did not overturn the election, which was won by Joe Biden.

"Key members of the Republican Party have spent the better part of six years pretending Donald Trump wasn’t really doing that. This is often followed by Trump himself confirming that’s precisely what he was doing. Such is now the case with the plot to get Vice President Mike Pence to unilaterally overturn the 2020 election," Aaron Blake reported for The Washington Post. "Trump released a statement Sunday night asserting not only that Pence could have overturned the election himself, but that he should have."
