Axios reporter Jonathan Swan revealed on MSNBC that President Donald Trump didn't know that Vice President Mike Pence had any role in the Electoral College. It was only from the Lincoln Project's video that they ran on Fox News only in the D.C. market that Trump learned that Pence had some role in the counting of the ballots.

"The ad [was] sort of over the top, ominous framing, points out to their audience of one that Pence actually plays this role and will be sort of putting the ceremonial sound of death to President Trump's presidency," said Swan. "Trump sees this ad, becomes enraged and begins to take this up with Mike Pence privately. In a number of conversations, he asked Mike Pence to send cease and desist letters to the Lincoln Project which he doesn't do, and starts asking Pence to object when he has to certify the results."

On Tuesday, The Daily Beast reported that Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the far-right group the Proud Boys, has been released from jail pending trial — but until his court date, will be banned from setting foot in Washington, D.C.

Tarrio, reported Blake Montgomery, "allegedly led the extremist group in stealing and burning a Black Lives Matter flag from a historically Black church in the city on Dec. 30. He was taken into custody, allegedly carrying illegal high-capacity AR-15 magazines, after traveling to the capital for a rally planned in support of President Donald Trump's fact-free bid to overturn the results of the Nov. 3 election."

Conservative columnist Max Boot revealed in his Tuesday column that the slate of lies from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo over the course of his tenure in office are so extensive that the Washington Post couldn't fit them all in the newspaper.

Calling him "Pinocchio Pompeo," Boot explained that it seems the Secretary is working to rewrite history for the past four years to handle his "battered reputation."

In a statement to the New York Post this Monday, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) said she plans to object during the Electoral College certification process this Wednesday.

"I plan to object to certain contested electors on January 6," her statement read. "I do not take this action lightly. I am acting to protect our Democratic process."

In August, police shot 29-year-old African American Jacob Blake in the back seven times while he opened his car door to get something. Police had a hold of Blake's shirt and was pulling him toward the officers when he fired the shots. Blake had three of his sons in the back seat at the time. Blake was paralyzed by those shots in his back.

Still, despite the shooting being caught on video, Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley said that he would not prosecute the police who fired those seven shots into Blake's back.
