One-time Fox News personality Megyn Kelly received harsh criticism on Saturday from MSNBC anchor Tiffany Cross.

"Nevertheless, here we are. Why? Because the blackface connoisseur, who had to apologize for ridiculously asking why it was racist for white people to wear a blackface for halloween, is now going after someone less than half her age, but has twice her intelligence."

On Friday, The Daily Beast reported that Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) posted screenshots of an angry argument between him and Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who wanted to get him on the phone for a call.

"Tucker, I'm hesitant to do that. You falsely smeared my wife on Tuesday and she's getting death threats," said Swalwell, referring to a retracted Fox News story alleging that Swalwell's campaign funneled money to a business employing his wife. "That's way out of bounds. She's a pregnant mom of a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. Hit me all you like. But to go after her. That's just wrong."

Dean Obeidallah, radio host and regular contributor to Salon, filed a complaint on Tuesday against Fox News for coordinating a "misinformation campaign" around COVID, suggesting that the channel has systematically downplayed coronavirus and sowed doubt around the efficacy of the vaccine.

The complaint, first announced in an MSNBC op-ed, alleges that Fox News violated the COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act, a December law which "makes it unlawful under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act for any person, partnership, or corporation to engage in a deceptive act or practice in or affecting commerce associated with the treatment, cure, prevention, mitigation, or diagnosis of COVID–19."

The attorneys for U.S. Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn issued a blistering statement slamming Tucker Carlson and Fox News after the host accused their client of being a political pawn. The Fox News host called the officer attacked during the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol "an angry left-winged political activist" on Wednesday.

"Tonight Fox News allowed its host Tucker Carlson, who has not served a day in uniform, whether military or law enforcement, to criticize the heroism and service of African-American U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn," the statement said. "Our client has served 13 years in law enforcement and on January 6, 2021, fought against an insurrectionist violent crowd ― no doubt many of them Carlson's supporters ― to protect the lives of our elected officials, including Vice President Pence."

Fox News contributor Lara Trump on Thursday explained that she is against face masks because she is "thrilled" when her 3-year-old child gets sick.

Trump made the remarks during a rant opposing masks on Fox & Friends.

Fox News host Jillian Mele mistakenly reported on Wednesday that Russia has a military fighter jet that can fly at nearly "twice the speed of light."

"The jet features stealth characteristics and the ability to cruise at supersonic speeds," Mele said of Russia's new technology. "The new aircraft is smaller than other Russian fighter jets but can fly at a speed of almost twice the speed of light."

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Sunday criticized Press Secretary Jen Psaki for explaining why the Biden administration opposes COVID-19 "misinformation" that is being spread on social media.

During a segment on Fox & Friends, host Pete Hegseth asked McEnany about reports that the Biden administration has flagged Facebook posts that contain misinformation about COVID-19 or the vaccine.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) fired back at Megyn Kelly after she waved off the severity and detriment of the deadly Capitol riots. On Monday, July 12, the former Fox News anchor discussed the Capitol riots during a segment of her podcast, "The Megyn Kelly Show."

According to Kelly, what transpired at the Capitol building on Jan. 6 "wasn't an insurrection." During the segment, Kelly claimed, "There is no question the media represented it as so much worse than it actually was," reports Newsweek.

Former Fox News personality Eric Bolling blasted his former network for being "woke" on Friday night.

The network parted ways with Bolling in 2017 after an investigation of reports of sexual harassment by the conservative host.
