The day after Holocaust Remembrance Day, North Carolina Republican Rep. Madison Cawthorn used a commonly cited poem from German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller to sell merchandise on his campaign website.

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

Cawthorn, who, ironically has attacked socialists and Jews, created his own version of the poem to sell t-shirts.

Mass shooting survivor David Hogg on Thursday gave fellow activists permission to "immediately politicize" his death and use it to pass strong gun violence prevention laws in the event that "some out of their mind person" like Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia shoots and kills him.

Hogg, a co-founder of March for Our Lives, became a gun control activist after surviving the February 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. His comments on Twitter come as a March 2019 video of Greene chasing after and yelling at him circulates online.

Speaking at her weekly news conference this Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tore into Republicans for seating Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on the House Education and Labor Committee.

Greene has a long history of spouting right-wing conspiracy theories and insurrectionist rhetoric. Video recently emerged of Green harassing David Hogg, a school shooting survivor.

Media Matters on Thursday revealed that Greene, in a since-deleted Facebook post from November 2018, speculated that Brown started the fires in order to clear out forests in areas where he wanted to build a high-speed rail line up the California coast.

David Hogg, a survivor of the 2018 mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, told CNN's Alisyn Camerota that he felt threatened when QAnon-loving Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) followed him down the street and told him she carried a gun with her.

After playing a clip of Greene harassing Hogg, Camerota noted that Greene told Hogg that she had a concealed carry permit and carried a gun with her.

CNN's Alisyn Camerota on Thursday begged Republicans in Congress to do something about QAnon-loving Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) after video emerged of her harassing teen school shooting survivors.

During a discussion about the House GOP's new QAnon-believing lawmakers, Camerota referenced video showing Greene chasing after Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg and accusing him of being a "coward" for ignoring her.

Since taking office, it was revealed that she chased Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg as he lobbied Capitol Hill for action to ban dangerous weapons. She denies that both the Parkland and Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings ever took place. She has also said that Sept. 11 was an inside job and that Hillary Clinton is murdering children to wear their faces.

On Thursday, WCRB reporter Meredith Aldis attended the Dalton town hall of freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) — and was promptly threatened with arrest by Whitfield County deputies and thrown out of the premises when she tried to ask a question.

Before being ejected, Aldis reported that Greene railed against her chamber as the "House of Hypocrites," and vowed to press on with her doomed push to impeach President Joe Biden for vague and unspecified abuses of power.
