The new book I Alone Can Fix It by Carol Leonnig and Phil Rucker includes many first-hand accounts of conversations former Attorney General Bill Barr had with other officials in Donald Trump's administration.

While the book doesn't say whether or not Barr was a source, many stories including Barr attempt to portray him as a one of few pushing back against Trump's more harebrained ideas.

Speaking to MSNBC host Brian Williams on Tuesday, former federal prosecutor Barbara McQuade said that after reading the indictment for Tom Barrack, she thinks there is more to come.

Barrack, who was one of Donald Trump's closest advisers who is alleged to have been working as a foreign agent to the UAE and influencing the president on behalf of the country. MSNBC host Rachel Maddow sounded the alarm about the UAE, even asking Trump's campaign how they could help in the 2016 election.

Southern Oregon is currently being consumed by a conflagration known as the Bootleg Fire. It has already devoured more than 606 square miles at the time of this writing (an area larger than the city of Los Angeles) and has only been 30 percent contained. The behemoth blaze is accelerating its growth, and has been growing by 80 square miles per day or more.

"You know, his alternate reality, the one he's living in, the one he talked about at length with Phil and me when we interviewed him at Mar-a-Lago, has only gotten more hardened over time," said Leonnig. "Anything that doesn't help him has to be false. It's interesting too because it's particularly perverse to have someone not taking credit for the vaccine they pressured everyone to deliver."

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow kicked off her Tuesday show talking about recently indicted Thomas J. Barrack Jr., who, it turns out, was working as a foreign agent on behalf of the United Arab Emirates.

According to prosecutors, Barrack was getting speech-language inserted in Trump's remarks about the UAE and other demands the country had. He profited significantly from the efforts.
