Devin Nunes was denied in his attempt to revive a defamation lawsuit against CNN over reports that he was involved in a scheme to dig up dirt against Joe Biden in Ukraine.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ruled 2-1 that Nunes failed to seek a correction quickly enough from the network or show that he deserved "special damages" to make up for economic loss, reported Reuters.

Elon Musk sued for allegedly delaying announcement of his Twitter purchase to buy shares on the cheap

On Tuesday, The Daily Beast reported that billionaire Tesla founder Elon Musk is being sued by a Twitter investor who alleges he improperly delayed the announcement of his acquisition of Twitter stock — keeping the share price lower than it would have been so he could buy up more on the cheap.

"The lawsuit, filed in federal court in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday, alleges that the Tesla CEO’s delay artificially dampened Twitter’s share price, cheating out investors who sold stock before he finally disclosed his investment in early April," reported A.J. McDougall and Noah Kirsch. "The plaintiff, Marc Bain Rasella, claims that Musk should have revealed his holdings to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by March 24, as Bloomberg News previously reported. Instead, the billionaire revealed that he had bought up 9.2 percent of Twitter only last Monday — immediately causing shares to jump 27 percent as Muskian acolytes clamored to invest."

Division and disarray mark Macomb County GOP convention

Each of Michigan’s 83 counties held GOP conventions Monday night, but deeply red Macomb County was perhaps the most chaotic of them all, featuring hours of insults, interruptions and the eventual ousting of the county party’s convention chair.

The division and discord that ensued was fed by an organized effort led by former President Trump-endorsed attorney general candidate Matt DePerno to “storm” the state’s county GOP conventions Monday. Each held meetings at 7 p.m. to choose this year’s Republican delegates to be sent to the April 23 state convention in Grand Rapids.

Exclusive: White House aide relayed information from Giuliani research team to Trump in effort to overturn 2020 election

During the frantic period between the 2020 election and the Jan. 6, 2021 assault on the US Capitol, a young White House aide named Garrett Ziegler served as a conduit of information from a network of teams led by lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell to President Trump, as the operatives generated unfounded and specious claims in an attempt to delegitimize the 2020 presidential election.

Ziegler has spoken openly about using his pass to let attorney Sidney Powell and retired Lt. General Michael Flynn into the White House for a Dec. 18, 2020 meeting with President Trump and contributing to a report authored by his boss, trade advisor Peter Navarro, that was used to undermine confidence in the election. But Raw Story has confirmed that Ziegler played a much more significant role than has been previously understood. Working directly with a team that reported to Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, Ziegler helped create a seamless information chain that was mobilized in the effort to overturn the election.
