'Shut up!' Lawyer bashes 'fake electors' blaming Trump for Michigan scheme

An attorney representing one of the Michigan Republicans charged in the fake elector scheme lashed out at the co-defendants in that case who are blaming Donald Trump for their actions.

Prosecutors charged 16 GOP activists in the state with eight counts of forgery and conspiracy related to their post-election activities in 2020, and some of them have claimed the Trump campaign was involved — which defense attorney Kevin Kijewski cautioned against in a newly unearthed audio recording shared with The Daily Beast.

More plea deals coming? Here's what's next for the Fulton 19

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee has scheduled a hearing for Tuesday afternoon to consider prosecutors’ request to revoke Harrison Floyd’s bond for allegedly making incendiary statements about witnesses in the 2020 presidential election interference case.

McAfee’s ruling will determine whether the ex-director of Black Voices for Trump will have to return to the same Atlanta jail where Floyd spent several days in August after a grand jury indicted him on charges alleging that he, Donald Trump and 17 of their co-defendants illegally conspired to try to reverse the GOP incumbent Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss to the Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Georgia and several other states.

Trump snarls at Fox News for not including any of his supporters in election round-up

Sunday morning Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News and suggested the conservative network is intentionally keeping "TRUMPER" voters off the air during interviews on the upcoming 2024 election.

The former president who floods his Truth Social account with screenshots of polls showing him leading either his GOP presidential nomination opponents or President Joe Biden on a daily basis, complained about the Fox Trump voter slight while also sniping at Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R).

On Truth Social, he sarcastically ranted: "FoxNews worked hard today, and were able to find 3 representative voters to go on the show. One was for Crooked Joe, where the person found nothing mentally wrong with him. Another was for Birdbrain, and the 3rd for Ron DeSanctimonious."

He followed that up by boasting about his polls and hinting Fox is knowingly ignoring his supporters.

"Considering that I’m leading Biden by 11 Points (WAPO), and leading the Republicans by over 50 Points, FoxNews must have worked very hard not to find a TRUMPER?"

'The horse is dead': Rick Wilson mocks Ron DeSantis for campaigning on outdated issues

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was ruthlessly mocked on Friday by former Republican strategist turned Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson, for latching onto culture war issues that voters moved on from years ago.

"I am going to bring a reckoning to these agencies for what they did to this country during COVID," wrote DeSantis on X. "Why? Because if we don’t hold them accountable, they are going to try to do it again — and we can never let this happen in our country again."

WASHINGTON — There may be a new speaker in the House of Representatives, but he, too, must answer to the same old boss: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

While there’s growing frustration in some corners of the GOP over some of Greene’s head-turning antics — like when she declared an “Impeachment Week” over the summer where she dropped new articles of impeachment daily against cabinet secretaries and President Joe Biden — Greene told Raw Story in an exclusive interview that her Republican colleagues haven’t seen anything yet.

Mike Johnson's rise shows 'cruel conservatism' winning evangelical 'civil war': report

House speaker Mike Johnson's election makes him the most powerful ally the Christian Right has had in decades, and a report says his rise reveals the anti-democratic faction within the evangelical movement has won out.

Johnson's elevation shows the "any means necessary" wing of the Christian Right now has a direct line to the elected official who's second in line to the presidency – "Praise God," trumpets right-wing Pastor Jim Garlow – and shows that evangelicals are moving away from pluralism, reported NPR.

Maria Bartiromo barreled through warnings to boost 'wackadoodle' lies: book

A new book claims that Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo single-handedly gave birth to the "Big Lie" that Donald Trump used to justify his efforts to overturn his election loss and which cost Fox Corp. nearly $800 million.

Fox boss Rupert Murdoch decided to send the vanquished president a message – you lost, get over it – within an hour of Fox News projecting on Nov. 7, 2020, that Joe Biden had won the election by directing an editorial to be published in the New York Post giving point-by-point directions on managing the defeat, according to excerpts of Brian Stelter's new book Network of Lies published by Politico.
