As Democratic members of Congress and President Joe Biden are working to extend the eviction moratorium enacted to help Americans during the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News' Peter Doocy went to bat, too – for landlords.

"There's been a major push here recently to protect tenants from being evicted right now, why isn't more being done to help the landlords who are struggling to pay their bills because they're not being paid?" Doocy, apparently ignorant that there are federal funds to compensate landlords for lost rental income, asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

Chicago could require vaccine passports like New York but not yet: health commissioner says

Despite rising COVID-19 cases, Chicago’s public health commissioner said Tuesday the city is not at this point mandating vaccination proof for indoor bars, restaurants and gyms, as New York City mayor’s announced will be required in that city. Dr. Allison Arwady called New York’s move “appropriate” and praised Chicago businesses who independently implemented such a practice. Although former President Donald Trump has been vaccinated for COVID-19, he hasn't gone out of his way to encourage others to get vaccinated. Some of his supporters wish that he would, but reporters have some thoughts on why Trump has avoided promoting vaccination.

According to the Daily Beast's Asawin Suebsaeng, people in Trump's circle have urged him to encourage vaccinations, but Trump "doesn't want to do it, he doesn't want to do Joe Biden any favors, and he doesn't think his fans really want it." MSNBC's Adam Weinstein observed:
