American tourist blasts Thai street with weed-filled fog machine to promote his business: police

An American man visiting Thailand resorted to a strange method of promoting his business, reported Insider on Thursday: blasting a popular tourist destination with a fog machine filled with cannabis.

"The police outlined their accusations in a Facebook post on Monday," reported Marielle Descalsota. "In the post, police said the man — who they identified as Angkhan Vorac Chhieng — used the fog machine along Bangla Walking Street in Potong Beach at 2:30 a.m. on August 18. The street in Patong — a beach resort town in Phuket — has been known for its nightlife for years, and has more recently become home to many cannabis dispensaries."

'I literally am furious!' Marjorie Taylor Greene loses it after being 'blocked out' by Fox News

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) lashed out at Fox News after she was not allowed to participate in a post-debate event on behalf of Donald Trump.

MTG’s boyfriend slams opponents as 'classless trash' after Iowa and Georgia voters give her the finger

During the August 19-20 weekend, far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) and her boyfriend, Right Side Broadcasting's Brian Glenn, attended the Iowa State Fair — where they reiterated their support for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election. Greene and Glenn, according to The Independent, posed for some photos with children who were wearing red MAGA hats, but Glenn is angry because some of the adults in the room were insulting the couple by holding up their middle finger or sticking their tongue out.

'Cult': Democrat blasts GOP voters after poll shows Trump viewed as 'source of true information'

United States Representative Jim Himes (D-Connecticut) on Sunday blasted supporters of former President Donald Trump following the publication of a CBS/YouGov poll, which found that nearly two-thirds of likely Republican primary voters are backing Trump for the GOP nomination despite the ninety-one criminal charges that have been filed against him.

"Trump voters' affinity for him seems to insulate the former president from attacks whether or not the debates this week, because voters basically say they aren't receptive to such criticism," CBS correspondents Anthony Salvanto, Kabir Khanna, Jennifer de Pinto, and Fred Backus explain. "Instead, a whopping nine in 10 GOP primary voters want the other candidates to focus on making the case for themselves, but not against Trump."

No one should take House Republicans' pursuit of Hunter Biden seriously: Biden attorney

During an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Friday, Hunter Biden's attorney Abbe Lowell singled out Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and James Comer (R-KY) for their part in the Republican Party's pursuit of his client.

Speaking with host Joe Scarborough, the lawyer pointed out that Republicans are admitting they are trying to link Hunter Biden business deals to his presidential father to "move the political needle," and that they have failed to come up with a "serious" whistleblower who can prove Biden corruption.

"You have to have a serious congressional proceeding in order to consider having somebody like your client come," Lowell told Scarborough. "And there's been nothing serious about this set of proceedings."

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

"This is a set of Republican chairpeople who have done the least the following. They basically started by admitting that the whole point of their proceeding was to use his [Comer's] phrase 'to move the political needle," he continued. "Since then, they 've basically said the reason the United States is helping Ukraine is because of the bribes that occurred between the two. Then they have said that the reason the Titan submarine news was suppressed was to cover up for the deal that was going to be announced for Hunter."

"Marjorie Taylor Greene used a [House] Oversight hearing in order to show naked photos of our client," he added. "Comer has basically just been bragging that he is the one, to use his phrase, who shoved the plea bargain 'up the you-know-what of the Justice Department.' There have been allegations that there was a whistle-blower which turns out to be first they said the guy was missing and it turns out he's a fugitive and he's involved in obstruction and being a foreign agent."

"With that panoply and laundry list of the things that these members of Congress have done, until they show they have a serious intent or are operating within the rules and have a proper legislative purpose, nobody would go before them," he added.

‘Straight up communism’: Nikki Haley, Marjorie Taylor Greene increasingly share similar rhetoric to attack Democrats

Fifth-place Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is ramping up her rhetoric ahead of next week's first GOP presidential debate, sharpening her spear to target Democrats and President Joe Biden with charges of communism, just as top Trump supporter U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has been doing.

Haley, the former Trump UN Ambassador, attempted to paint herself as a reasonable Republican when she was the governor of South Carolina, but is now rated a "Hard Core Conservative" by OnTheIssues. Over the past few years she has positioned herself as tough on China, gradually but increasingly weaving remarks attacking "Communist China," and the "Chinese Communist Party" into issues here at home.
