A former gun executive spoke to CNN on Sunday to explain that gun culture was once about hunting and target shooting, but after former President Barack Obama was elected, it became about something else.

Ryan Busse, writer of Gunfight: My Battle Against the Industry that Radicalized America, explained, "There's also this gun culture now developed since Barack Obama became president in 2008, but really a hateful conspiracy-driven, racist-driven gun culture that's on the fringes and that is the part of gun culture that's taken over much of the politics and spurred many people to march on Jan. 6 and part that's controlling the politics now."

Former Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) gave up his seat in Congress to run for the U.S. Senate in November. Former President Donald Trump had endorsed Brooks, but after the congressman told Trump and his supporters to get over the election, things took a turn.

Trump announced he would no longer support Brooks, and a poll released shortly after by Alabama Daily News and Gray Television, showed that Brooks' actually got more favorability than he enjoyed with Trump's endorsement. Yet, now, Brooks is rallying his supporters to demand Trump re-endorse.

Uvalde survivor takes first legal action against gun manufacturer after deadly school shooting: report

A special education staffer at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas, is taking the first step toward legal action against the gun manufacturer, Daniel Defense. According to NPR.org, the latest impending lawsuit is considered the first in the aftermath of the Uvalde school shooting which claimed the lives of 19 children and two teachers.

On Thursday, June 2, court documents were filed in the 38th Judicial District. NPR reports that Emilia "Amy" Marin "petitioned the court to force the company to sit for a deposition, as well as to produce materials related to its website, profits, lobbying, sales, and marketing of AR-15-style rifles like the one used at the shooting."

Pro-Trump 'America First' group splinters over white nationalist leader Nick Fuentes

The antics of far-right extremist Nick Fuentes are leading to the fracturing of America First, a fringe group that was supposed to rival the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), which Fuentes has viewed as not sufficiently conservative enough.

Someone may have invested 'seven figures' in sending 'unhinged' QAnon postcards to New Englanders

QAnon postcards are being dropped into mailboxes around New England with images of Taylor Swift, Barack Obama, Dave Chappelle, Mark Zuckerberg and others like Donald Trump, Mel Gibson and Elon Musk. The notes read "The True Story of QAnon" with a QR code to a website that purports to explain the ideology.

Vice News this week went on a hunt trying to find the source of the campaign, which is spreading the gospel of Q about "a child victim of the Cabal spoken of in QAnon."
