Conservative CNN commenter Margaret Hoover addressed the recent decision by President Donald Trump to encourage all people to get vaccinated. The aftermath of Trump's interview with Candace Owens has sent Trump media supporters into a frenzy either attacking him or attempting to apologize for him.

"First, that pretzel was Candace Owens explaining to her viewers — trying to explain what President Trump spoke," Hoover said. "She's really his unofficial spokesperson. Former President Trump spoke to the truth that vaccines work in an attempt to try to take credit for [himself], which is fine. But [Owens] now has to clean up his mess because her viewers and those subscribers and the people that watch The Daily Wire and are stuck in these conservative silo ecosystems believe that she is right and he is wrong."

Writing in the Washington Post, Phillip Bump explained that the new conspiracy theories have arrived just in time for the one-year anniversary of the Capitol attack. The FBI and Homeland Security gathered that the bombs set at the Republican and Democratic Party headquarters were supposed to be a distraction to police as they broke into the Capitol to stop the Electoral College count.

President Joe Biden got angry when talking about the pieces of his Build Back Better plan that would help American families, particularly children. The plan was shot down by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who said that he refused to support the measure. All Republican senators have indicated that they oppose the bill.

Talking about Manchin, Biden said that he doesn't hold a grudge and he's focused on getting the bill done. He then cited an interview with Manchin who said that it wasn't Biden who misled people it, "I mislead you."

Another "unruly passenger" was arrested Monday evening in the Miami airport after a police officer pulled his gun on the man.

While many passengers have been arrested due to fights over masks, this man was furious that his chartered flight was canceled, KRON4 reported. Two men then broke out into a fight over the flight in the middle of terminal H.

Speaking to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Monday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) attacked colleague Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who said over the weekend he could not support the "Build Back Better" bill.

Behind the scenes, Manchin is reportedly telling people that he thinks people in West Virginia will take the child tax credit, turn around and spend it on drugs instead of their children. He also reportedly believes that people will take paid family leave policies and use them to go on a hunting vacation.

New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt this week has written a summary of the developments of the House Select Committee investigating Jan. 6 and the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

According to Schmidt, the idea that the committee was thinking of criminal referrals came last week when Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) cited 18 US Code 1505, which makes it illegal to obstruct government operations.

"I think Letitia James' office will have to fight to get Donald to come and testify particularly because at some point you'll see the lawyer raise the bootstrapping argument," he said while discussing Trump's lawsuit against New York Attorney General Letitia James. "Donald is reduced to lawyers who are not well known but certainly know how to channel in their pleading his emotional fury at things going against him. The lawsuit itself just reeks of emotional rather than legal argument. That is how Donald works and it is not going to work with any judge."

Rosanne Boyland died on Jan. 6 after she collapsed just outside the doors of the U.S. Capitol. She had been hooked into the QAnon conspiracy world and became an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump.

Her family feared that as a former addict she was exchanging alcohol with a kind of Trump addiction. While her family has several problems with the investigation that has followed her death, they're also angry about the ways the GOP is using her to push their own agenda.
