Marjorie Taylor Greene blames Biden and other 'gun grabbers' for Nashville school shooting

In the immediate aftermath of a school shooting in Nashville that left at least seven people dead including three children, Marjorie Taylor Greene blamed Joe Biden, Democrats, and gun control advocates.

The shooting happened at Covenant School, a Christian private school, The Metro Nashville Police Department said. The suspect, a 28-year-old Nashville woman, was fatally shot by police, The Associated Press reports.

Netanyahu agrees to delay judicial reform after union threatens general strike

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday announced a pause to a set of divisive judicial reforms moving through parliament. The move came hours after the head of Israel’s top trade union called for a general strike following weeks of mass protests.

"Out of a sense of national responsibility, out of a will to prevent a rupture among our people, I have decided to pause the second and third readings of the bill," he told the legislature.

Biden nominee to head FAA withdraws after Republican criticism

WASHINGTON (Reuters) — U.S. President Joe Biden's nominee to head the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is withdrawing his nomination after Republican criticism that he was not qualified to serve as the top aviation regulator.

Last year, Biden nominated Denver International Airport CEO Phil Washington to serve as FAA administrator. A spokesperson for Washington at the airport did not immediately comment.

Far-right Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) tried to claim, during a call-in session for C-SPAN on Friday, that none of the January 6 insurrectionists were prosecuted for sedition — and was quickly slapped down by the Washington Journal host, reported The Daily Beast.

"'Trump wants to pardon the traitors that have been convicted of seditious conspiracy? Come on! What the hell’s wrong with you Republicans?!' one caller from Oregon exclaimed. 'I appreciate the call, and I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying, but I think you’re talking about the former president saying if he gets elected he’d issue some pardons or clemency to some of the people arrested and prosecuted on Jan. 6,' Biggs answered."
