Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley appears to be making a shift from her attacks on former President Donald Trump after Jan. 6. Now she appears to want room for supporting him once again.

While announcing that she wouldn't seek the presidency in 2024 if Trump does, Haley was ridiculed for the turnabout.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) isn't the only Republican in office with questionable ethics. In fact, the GOP has spent years welcoming the morally questionable into their party and putting them up for election.

Daily Beast columnist Danielle Tcholakian noted that the tactics Gaetz is employing to save his fledgling career are the same as those who've come before him.

Gov. Ron DeSantis doesn't want anything to do with the expanding problems of Florida Republicans like Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and former tax collector Joel Greenberg.

Irate Republicans across the country are endeavoring to stack the deck against Democrats by imposing rules under the guise of "voter fraud" precautions, reported the Washington Post.

Police turned violent in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota Sunday night when the community came together to protest another police shooting.

Twenty-year-old Daunte Wright called his mother at approximately 1:40 p.m. telling her that he was being pulled over. He had an outstanding warrant but police didn't know that when they pulled him over. they said it was for a "traffic violation." The violation was that he had air fresheners hanging from his mirror, his mother said.

This week it was revealed that Gaetz gave $900 to his now-indicted friend Joel Greenberg. Greenberg then sent three $300 payments to young women. The description of the payments was "tuition," "school," and "school." One of the women had just turned 18 years old.

Ironically, the bodycam footage has been available to the police chief for months, he could have investigated what happened and compared it to the paperwork filed by the officers.

New York Times columnist Charles Blow joined the chorus of voices calling out Fox News host Tucker Carlson for promoting the racist and anti-Semitic "white replacement theory," which is a bizarre theory derived by white supremacists.

"I know that the left and all the gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical if you use the term 'replacement,' if you suggest that the Democratic Party is trying to replace the current electorate, the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters, from the third world," said Carlson. "But, they become hysterical because that's what's happening, actually. Let's just say it: That's true."

Things didn't go well for Texas Republican state Sen. Bryan Hughes when he faced off against CNN host Pamela Brown on Sunday evening.

Speaking about the new Texas voter suppression bill, Brown asked why it makes sense to pass stricter voter restrictions when the state leaders called the 2020 election "safe and secure."
