A 3-year-old girl was caught on video leading a chant of "better wages, more toys" at a the General Motors strike in Ohio.
Video of the girl was posted by Mike Elk of The Payday Report.
"Better wages, more toys!" the girl says to the delight of onlookers.
"Can you say solidarity?" one man asks.
"Solidarity!" the girl shouts.
Greta Thunberg, a 16-year-old Swedish climate activist, faced off with members of Congress on Wednesday.
In a hearing before the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, Thunberg declined to submit a written opening statement.
"I don’t want you to listen to me, I want you to listen to the scientists and I want you to unite behind the science,” she said.
Republican Rep. Garret Graves of Louisiana tried to make the point that the U.S. should not curb its carbon emissions until other countries agreed to do so.
"Let me ask you a question," Graves said. "If you were sailing across the ocean and you were picking up trash along the way and for every one piece of trash you pick up, there's a boat right next to you dumping out five pieces, how would that make you feel?"
"If you use that logic," Thunberg replied, "I am also dumping a lot of trash in the ocean. I would stop dumping my trash in the ocean and then tell the other boat to stop dumping their trash in the ocean as well."
But it wasn't clear if Graves understood Thunberg's remarks.
"That's the important point here," the lawmaker said. "I think we need to be focusing on the countries that are dumping trash in the ocean. Of course that's a metaphor."

Conservative activist Kaitlin Bennett was escorted away by police after she tried to interrupt a liberal speaker.
The incident, which was caught on video, appeared to take place in Houston prior to last week's Democratic presidential debate. The video was later posted online by The Blaze's Elijah Schaffer, who was sympathetic to the right-wing heckler.
The video shows a speaker, who is black, talking about systemic racism.
"They have found ways to cage our babies, separate families, mistreat and abuse us," the woman says before she was interrupted by Bennett.
"What about abortion?" Bennett exclaims.
"A black woman is speaking," the crowd informs Bennett, who is white. "The queen is speaking."
"You need to go," one person warns.
As the conservative activist begins arguing with onlookers, Houston police approach and pull her away. The officers appear to inform Bennett that she must stay in the area designated for her group.
"I want everybody to take a look over here," the speaker announces, pointing out Bennett. "This is what happens."
"F*ck the white girl," someone in the crowd shouts.
"Get your ass the f*ck on," another person says.
Bennett later shared the video with her Twitter followers as badge of honor.

A group of children called out Philadelphia police officers who said that they wanted the kids to be "shaking" from the confrontation.
Video posted on social media over the weekend shows a white officer telling a shirtless African-American boy to get in his police cruiser.
The video was posted by Twitter by a user named Asia who claimed to be a student waiting for her bus.
"Start walking," the officer says as one of the students explains they are at the bus stop.
"Something is obviously going on out here," the cop insists.
"Ah, y'all so cute," one of the student says.
"He didn't do nothing," one student shouts at the officer.
"He just rolled up on him," another student notes.
"This Happened in Philadelphia,Pa on Thursday. A group of school kids and I were waiting for the bus at the bus stop when a cop car came to us," Asia wrote on Twitter.
Asia said that the officer eventually released the boy without explaining why he had been detained.
“Don’t forget to tell your friends you were shaking in a police car," the officer allegedly told the boy.
In total, four white officers surrounded the group of students.
The Philadelphia Police Department responded to the tweets by asking Asia to open a formal complaint.
Video of the incident had nearly 300,000 views by Sunday afternoon.
White House aide Kellyanne Conway on Sunday insisted that Democrats do not have a "constitutional basis" to embarrass President Donald Trump by conducting an impeachment inquiry.
Conway made the remarks while speaking to FOX News Sunday guest host Bill Hemmer.
"Complete nonsense," she said when asked about the impeachment proceedings. "They need to get a messaging meeting and they need to read the constitution of the Democratic Party."
"Americans, the Congress, they work for you," Conway continued, talking over the FOX host. "And they're wasting your money and your time trying to impeach a president where there are no high crimes and misdemeanors."
She added: "Stop the nonsense of harassing and embarrassing this president and the people around him when you have no constitutional or legal basis to do so."
Democrats have argued that they have a constitutional duty to conduct an impeachment inquiry.

President Donald Trump went off-script and attacked astronauts as a career choice at an event for Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs).
The president made the anti-science rant while congratulating his administrations work with HBCUs.
"To give just a few examples, NASA is expanding outreach to HBCUs who want to become scientists, engineers and even astronauts," Trump said.
"I don't know about the astronaut," he added, breaking from prepared remarks. "I don't want to be an astronaut."
Trump then polled the audience: "Does anybody want to be an astronaut? I see one. There's one brave person."

An NFL team came under fire over the weekend after it gave an African-American child a lawnmower to help him save for college.
In a video post to Twitter over the weekend, the Carolina Panthers explained that 12-year-old Jaylin Clyburn is spending his summers mowing lawns to save for college.
"We needed his expertise so we brought him to Charlotte," the video says while Clyburn is seen pushing his lawnmore outside the team's footbal stadium.
A team official tells Clyburn that Lowe's has donated a new lawnmower on behalf of the Panthers.
Before the video ends, the 12-year-old is made "an official member" of the team's grounds crew.
Twitter users scolded the team for giving the child a lawnmower instead of a scholarship.

A family of YouTube stars are facing a campaign to have their videos removed from the platform after one woman wore blackface and acted "ghetto."
In a video posted last week, Bianca Prince explains that she is playing a "prank" on her husband by wearing a blackface disguise.
"I am about to look like a literally different person," she says in the video. "I'm about to be a ghetto girl. I've got to learn how to talk."
"I already look different," Prince says as her makeup artist applies a dark liquid to her face.
Twitter users mounted a campaign to have the Prince family removed from YouTube for violating its standards on hate speech.

A woman was caught on camera excoriating a number of young people because one of them was wearing a bikini.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Twitter user @quuiincy said that he was on the way to a pool party with his friends when a woman began yelling at them.
"Why? What's wrong with what she's wearing?" one of the young men asks.
"It's inappropriate!" the woman yells.
"Show me some laws that say you can't wear that," the man says.
"Oh, I will!" the woman snaps back. "You know what, I worked really hard to move into this neighborhood, not to get it ruined by kids like you!"
"We're not affecting you," one of the young men replies. "We're not doing anything to you or your family."
"There's children who live here!" the woman screams before confronting the renter of the home where the pool party is being held.
"Are you the renter?" the woman asks. "She just put shorts on. She's walking around in one of those bikinis again."
"We just got here, ma'am," one man explains.
"This is the last time," the woman warns. "I will literally go to the one that rents you this home and I will go personally talk to them."
According to @quuiincy, the woman "shamed my friend because her husband was looking at her."

In an editorial commentary closing Sunday morning's "AM Joy," MSNBC host Joy Reid laid it on the line for Donald Trump and fellow Republicans when it comes to guns, saying it is time to choose between the NRA or, at the very least, children who could be the victims of gun violence.
Addressing the latest mass shooting Texas -- which has claimed seven lives so far -- Reid made mention of America's epidemic of assault weapon-related violence as well as a history of how laws have shifted and been undercut bt Republicans in the thrall of the NRA.
Which brought her to the massive uptick of shooters using assault rifles that Republicans have no intention of banning.
"America is a nation that is full of guns," she explained. "And where one political party is beholden and obedient to the gun dealers. But we do not have to be. At some point we have to decide, which we love more: the guns or our lives. The guns or our freedom to be in public or in school or at church or at a synagogue or at a mosque without feeling constantly terrified."
"The guns or our kids? " she asked. "We don't have to keep living like this."

Police in DeKalb County, Illinois were caught on camera using a Taser to shock a black man before putting him in what appeared to be a choke hold.
Video captured by Alyssa Retuerto shows her boyfriend, 25-year-old Elonte Y. McDowell, being pinned to the ground by DeKalb police officers.
“I can’t breathe,” McDowell can be heard saying as the video reveals an officer has his arm around the man's neck.
“Oh my God, what the f*ck are you doing that for?” Retuerto shouts as an officer deploys his Taser on McDowell. “He’s in a f*cking chokehold and you just tased him? For what? For what?”
“He has a pulse, right? Like, you guys can make sure he has a pulse?" she later adds. "’Cause look at his face.”
DeKalb County Sheriff Roger Scott confirmed in a statement that a Taser had been used by one of the officers.

According to the release, DeKalb police said it was an investigative stop based on intelligence they had received that claims McDowell was transporting “a load of drugs.” When police tried to place McDowell under arrest, he tried to get away, according to the release.
Police said that McDowell later admitted that a bag of marijuana he displayed on Snapchat was his.
He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, criminal trespass to property and resisting a police officer.
McDowell could spend up to five years in prison if convicted of the charges.
The officer who was seen with his arm around McDowell's neck has been reassigned to desk duty pending the outcome of an internal investigation, officials said.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) may have hit a new low on Tuesday when he joked that Muslims in Chinese concentration camps should be forced to eat pork.
According to Paige Godden of Iowa Starting Line, King made the remarks while speaking at a town hall event.
"Congressman Steve King tries to make a joke about China's alleged treatment of Muslims," Godden reported. "He said the Chinese are sterilizing Muslim women and making them eat pork."
"That's the only part of that I agree with," King reportedly said. "Everyone should eat pork."
In recent months, Republicans have rebuked King for supporting white supremacy and suggesting that rape and incest are necessary for population growth.
King's latest remarks were met with disgust on Twitter.
A pregnant Colorado woman said that she was abused by police after she had a disagreement with Target employees about a coupon.
Jazzmin Downs told KUSA that the incident occurred when she tried to use a coupon that she had printed out online. After the clerk refused, Downs asked to speak to the manager but she was told to leave the store.
The pregnant shopper demanded to know why she was being denied service, the manager called security and the Aurora Police Department.
Downs, who is black, walked outside to call Target's corporate offices when a police officer showed up. At first she said he joked with her about needing coupons for dog food, but his attitude changed after he spoke with Target employees.
Downs said four more officers showed up while the first officer was inside talking to the manager.
The woman explained to KUSA that one of the officers noticed that her hand was in her pocket. Down said that she had unzipped her jeans because they were uncomfortable due to her pregnancy. Her hand was in her pocket to help hold up her pants, she said.
“I was still explaining to them what was going on and then he yelled at me stating get my hand out of my pocket and I look at him confused," she recalled. "When I took my hand out of my pocket, I took the lining with me to show him there was nothing in my pocket, and I put my hand up. Well that wasn’t obviously good enough for him and he yelled that they had to search for a gun."
In video shared on social media, officers can be seen forcefully searching Downs. She accused them of squeezing her stomach area.
“All I want is an answer as to why they did what they did," she insisted. "They violated me as a human. They violated me as a mother. They violated me as a pregnant woman. They violated me just in general for no reason and they had no explanation but we were in fear of you or you made me nervous.”
One officer told Downs that she had no idea why they were called to the Target in the first place.
"We just came here; we have no idea what had happened," the officer reportedly said.
A Target spokesperson accused Downs of being "angry and aggressive." For their part, the Aurora police have said that they did nothing wrong.
