Democratic lawmakers and human rights advocates on Thursday rebuked Sen. Rand Paul after the Kentucky Republican attempted to derail the historic Senate confirmation hearing of assistant health and human services secretary nominee Rachel Levine, in part by conflating gender-affirming healthcare with "genital mutilation."

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was denounced again on Thursday after bullying a fellow colleague in Congress.

Rep. Marie Newman (D-IL), whose daughter is transgender, inspired the Congresswoman to put a trans pride flag outside of her office, which sits across the hall from Greene. Not only did Greene put a poster saying there are only "two genders" on the wall outside the building, she also did her own personal Twitter attack against Newman's daughter.

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene escalated her grotesque and bigoted attack on the entire transgender community Wednesday by hanging an anti-trans sign outside of her office door directly across from the workplace of Democratic Rep. Marie Newman, whose daughter is trans.

After Newman put up a trans pride flag outside of her office Wednesday afternoon following Greene's House floor speech attacking trans people and the Equality Act—legislation that would bar discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation and gender identity—the Georgia Republican responded later in the evening by posting on the wall in the congressional hallway a sign that reads, "There are TWO genders: Male & Female. Trust The Science!"

Progressive lawmakers and human rights advocates on Wednesday condemned Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene—and the GOP caucus that backed her up—after the Georgia Republican went on a hateful anti-transgender screed before moving to adjourn the House of Representatives to stop a vote on the Equality Act.The Equality Act, which would ban discrimination against people based on sexual orientation and gender identity, is all but certain to pass despite vehement Republican opposition.

Greene's speech provoked immediate outrage.

CNN's K-File reported Wednesday that someone Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called a "friend" was part of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Anthony Aguero, who does live streaming conservative commentary, confessed on video that he had been among those who entered the Capitol. He also contradicted false claims that the Capitol attack was done by "Antifa."

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez D-NY) just slammed "QAnon Congresswoman" Marjorie Taylor Greene over her opposition to the LGBTQ Equality Act. The House will vote on the legislation this week, and is currently engaged in determining the rules for the vote.

Rep. Greene, Republican of Georgia, has been waging war against the bill, falsely claiming it "destroys women's rights and religious freedom," and is "evil."

Responding to Democrats' legislation to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, Georgia GOP Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked the bill, saying that it stands to "violate religious freedoms."

"It says so directly here in the bill in these sections," Taylor said. "It's a shame we aren't reading the exact text because it's the text that matters. It's doesn't matter what you have to say or what I have to say. It's the actual wording."

The QAnon conspiracy theory drove many of former president Donald Trump's followers into the U.S. Capitol in a violent bid to overturn the election, but despite that failure -- and others certain to come -- adherents are clinging to the delusional belief that has become something of a religious community to them.

After that failure and Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president, QAnon adherents set their sights on March 4, which had been Inauguration Day until the ratification of the 20th Amendment in 1933, as the day Trump would return to the White House -- but it's probably not going out on a limb to predict that won't happen, either, but experts told Vox that won't likely shake their faith.

On Wednesday, Business Insider reported that organizers believe Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) will struggle to win re-election to Congress in 2022.

"A dozen Democrats are already planning to run in Greene's district in 2022, the Atlanta outlet 11 Alive reported, but in this ultraconservative corner of Georgia, the best bet of removing Greene from office will most likely come from within her party, local leaders said," reported Ashley Collman. "'The next Republican primary is going to be a bloodbath,' David Boyle, the Democratic Party chair of Walker County, told Insider. 'The middle-of-the-road traditional Republicans are tired of all of this craziness. They're going to put out strong candidates.'"

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) is tired of Fox News host Tucker Carlson's attempts to confuse his viewers while failing to "accept reality" and make effective changes.

According to Newsweek, Kinzinger took to Twiter to fire back at Carlson for his baseless claims during the recent segment of his show which aired on Tuesday, Feb. 23. "Next step in the whitewash: 'who is this 'Q' of which you speak?' There is no website!' Deny, plead ignorance, misdirect ... is there any question why people are confused? Quit lying, accept reality and use your energy to make us a better country."
