Arizona election deniers are on life support: columnist

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin can't help but notice the election denial movement in Arizona is finally coming to an end, at least it is when it comes to the final certification this year's statewide races.

Writing Wednesday, she noted that there is a near-absence of "voter fraud" claims that came out of Republican losers. While the top candidate, Kari Lake, may never fully embrace her loss, the rest of the Republicans have been largely accepting that voters rejected them.

'Just wrong': Israel's Netanyahu breaks with former ally Trump over meeting with neo-Nazi

On Wednesday, former Israeli Prime Minister and leader of the right-wing Likud Party Benjamin Netanyahu told U.S. analyst Bari Weiss that he opposes former President Donald Trump's decision to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago with neo-Nazi podcaster Nick Fuentes, according to Axios Middle East Correspondent Barak Ravid.

The meeting, said Netanyahu, “was just wrong and misplaced. I think it's a mistake. He shouldn't do that ... I hope it's not repeated.”

Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and one other found guilty of seditious conspiracy

Elmer Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the far-right militia group the Oath Keepers, has been found guilty of seditious conspiracy. He is also facing other charges along with four of his allies: Jessica Watkins, Kelly Meggs, Thomas Caldwell and Kenneth Harrelson. Kelly Meggs was also found guilty of seditious conspiracy.

On charges of obstruction of an official proceeding and aiding and abetting, all five were declared guilty. On conspiracy to obstruct a proceeding, Rhodes and Caldwell were found not guilty, while the others were.

Mark Meadows loses attempt to hide from Georgia grand jury — here's his next move

Donald Trump's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, lost his final appeal at the South Carolina Supreme Court Tuesday after trying to dodge being called by the Fulton County, Georgia special grand jury.

Meadows has been alleged to have traveled to Georgia to make his way into the counting rooms in the state. He also made several calls to people in the Secretary of State's office, including the Secretary of State, who he connected directly to the president. In The recorded call, Trump pressed officials to "find him" the votes necessary to win the 2020 election, despite the fact that he lost.

Five engines of Secret Service rental vehicles for the president's Thanksgiving break catch fire

The Nantucket Current reported that five of the vehicles rented by the U.S. Secret Service caught fire at the local airport during President Joe Biden's Thanksgiving break. Biden's family has met in Nantucket for Thanksgiving for decades but this is the first time a cache of vehicles looked like their engines exploded.

The report identified that the five vehicles were all different types, a Chevy Suburban, Ford Explorer, Infiniti QX80, Ford Expedition and Jeep Gladiator. The Ford Expedition did have a recall on it for the connections to the battery, indicating that fires have been caused by the problem. The car had not been taken in for repairs, sources told the Current. It's unclear if that single car caused the fire or if each of the cars simultaneously caught fire.
