Another woman is dead after buying into myths about the COVID-19 vaccine.

NBC News reported on Samantha Wendell, who was going to have her dream wedding on Aug. 21, instead, she ended up in the hospital, dying from the deadly virus.

Tuesday morning, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken appeared before the Senate to testify about the Afghanistan withdrawal, but Sen. James Risch (R-ID) kept asking the same question repeatedly about a conspiracy theory the secretary had never heard of.

The Daily Beast reported Tuesday that the Queen of England did send a congratulatory note to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un as he celebrated North Korea's founding day.

The Beast explained that when the news was reported they didn't believe it and thought it was a satirical report, so they called Buckingham Palace to confirm, which they did. The note had caused "knowledgeable insiders to speculate that Pyongyang must have made up the note," The Beast reported. But the palace ended up "dispelling suspicions that it might have been an elaborate hoax."

A Washington Post report Monday detailed that activism against the coronavirus vaccine is now leading to a philosophy of being anti-vaccine across the board.

The Post cited a recent tweet from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who said, in all capital letters, that there shouldn't be any vaccine mandates at all. Other Republicans quickly followed.

Former federal prosecutor Joyce Vance noted Monday evening that a key piece of evidence revealing voter fraud is a lie comes from the recent post on Republican Larry Elder's website before the election even took place.

The claim is that the California recall is over, even though the election is on Tuesday. The post says that Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has already won and his campaign discovered voter fraud "through a statistical analysis of the results." All of this 24 hours before the election was even over.

Ray DeMonia was an auctioneer who spent his whole life in Cullman, but he died 200 miles away in Mississippi because the hospital beds in Alabama were all full.
