WATCH: White man warns group of black men he's armed -- then goes on shocking racist rant
A white man in Sioux Falls, South Dakota over the weekend was caught on camera warning a group of three black men that he was carrying a firearm just before he delivered a racist rant in which he repeatedly called them the N-word.
In the video, which was posted on Facebook by Sioux Falls resident Ashley Eva Marie, shows three black men walking on a downtown sidewalk. Shortly after the video begins, a white man on a bicycle rides past them and says, "I've got a firearm on me, so [if] you n*ggers are going to follow me, just so you know."
The three men act shocked by the man's comments, and shortly afterward he starts yelling at them from across the street and doubles down on his racist tirade.
"The East side was f*cking destroyed by n*ggers!" he yelled at them. "Africa, no one wants to be there, that's why you're here!"
At this point, one of the black men points out to the man that he threatened to shoot him.
"I did not!" the man objects.
"We got it on camera!" the black man replies.

WATCH: Woman refuses to let interracial couple get married at her venue because it’s against her ‘Christian beliefs’
A white woman was caught on camera over the weekend saying that the wedding venue she manages will not marry interracial or LGBT couples because it goes against her "Christian beliefs."
Deep South Voice reports that a manager Boone’s Camp Event Hall in Boonville, Mississippi told LaKambria Welch this past weekend that her brother and his fiance would not be able to get married at the venue because it has a policy against hosting "mixed" marriages.
Welch's brother, who is black, had been working with the venue to arrange a wedding with his fiance, who is a white woman. The venue abruptly told Welch's brother that he would not be able to get married there roughly one week after they started making arrangements, however, because his marriage would violate the venue's religious convictions.
Welch proceeded to go to the venue and asked a woman there why her brother could not get married there.
“First of all, we don’t do gay weddings or mixed race, because of our Christian race -- I mean, our Christian belief," the woman tells Welch in the video.
Welch interjects and points out that her family are Christians as well, and then asks the woman to explain what passage in the Bible opposes letting interracial couples get married.
“Well, I don’t want to argue my faith," the woman replies. "We just don't participate."

WATCH: 'Moron' takes off in kayak as Hurricane Dorian makes landfall
Twitter users are calling out this "moron," who took off on the ocean waters as Hurricane Dorian was making landfall in the Bahamas Sunday.
Resident James Julmis posted the video where he could be heard asking, "Why is this man out there?"
While it's difficult to tell, the man appears to be wearing a lifejacket as he paddles further out to sea with waves crashing over the bow of his kayak.
Others, retweeting the video noting that evacuating an area via kayak is not a safe alternative to highways. One man even asked if the kayaker had a "death wish."
Before hurricanes make landfall, there are sometimes surfers that take to the water to ride ocean waves. It's possible this man was doing that in this case, but it's unclear why he did it during the storm itself.

'Buildings are completely gone': Hurricane Dorian's 'complete devastation' foretells what will happen to coastal US
Florida is expected to avoid a direct hit by Hurricane Dorian, but the storm is still expected to hit coastal regions in the state at its top strength of a Category 5.
Residents of the Bahamas are still not out of the woods, as the slow-moving storm advances to Grand Bahama Island. What it has left behind thus far is a horrific scene. Powerlines are down, homes have been moved off of foundations, chain-link fences are even bent and wrapped around trees and there is severe flooding. At one point during a briefing, the prime minister broke down into tears.
The storm is slated to begin moving into Florida Sunday evening and early Monday. It is then slated to move along the U.S. east coast, waning in strength. Florida, however, will see the worst of the storm as it hits the southeastern part of the state at full Category 5 strength. Currently, Palm Beach, Brevard, St. Lucie and St. Johns counties are all being told to evacuate immediately.

Odessa, Texas mayor blames 'problem of the heart' and video games for most recent mass shooting
The Texas legislature had numerous bills they could have passed this session that would have dealt with disturbed potential mass shooters, but they decided not to act on those. The legislature doesn't return back until May 31, 2021. Regardless, the mayor of Odessa, Texas is saying that red flag laws, or any other gun regulations wouldn't have stopped the gunman from killing seven people and injuring 22 others.
Mayor David Turner recalled a 2015 incident when a woman ran her car into a crowd of students at the Oklahoma State University Homecoming festivities. A crowd gathered to celebrate when a mentally ill woman ran her car into them, killing four people and injuring 44 others. Lawyers for the woman explained she was under “severe psychosis” at the time.
In Odessa, the gunman was shooting randomly with an AR-15 assault weapon, beginning with state troopers.
"There's no real motive that's come out," Truner said. "This was not a planned shooting. This was something that I believe this individual may have some issues. But it's still fairly early. They are talking to family members and things like that to find out exactly what may have caused this."
MSNBC host Kendis Gibson asked Turker what he's going to help comfort his city and Turner said prayer.
"What do you say to the people that say they need more than prayer to prevent something like this from happening?" Gibson asked.
"There's always going to be evil people. Evil people find ways to hurt people," he said, citing the Stillwater incident.
"Whether it's an airplane in New York. When I was in Stillwater, Oklahoma, a lady plowed into a crowd of people at a parade. You sit here, and you wonder why. You don't understand why. I think that's when you have to lean on your faith," Turner claimed.
"But you do realize there was a shooting and the mass shooting in El Paso not too far ago, far away, just about a month ago," Gibson explained. "Again, with an assault rifle. This is an assault rifle. Isn't there something common in all of this?"
"Yeah. I think it's a problem of the heart, to be honest with you," Turner explained. "We have so many violent video games."
New gun laws took effect in Texas allowing more people to carry more guns with no gun-free safe-zones anywhere.
In the case of this shooter, police were immediately engaging the shooter, and he still managed to kill multiple people and injure dozens more.

CNN panel explodes at Texas governor for hiding mass shooting details with pathetic press conference
Appearing on CNN after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) held center-stage at a press conference that was long on political posturing and short on details on the white Texas man who went on a mass shooting spree on Saturday -- terrorism expert Juliette Kayyem was appalled at what was offered up to the public.
Speaking with host Fredricka Whitfield, Kayyem seemed genuinely stunned by the press conference that was dominated by the Republican governor who seemed more interested in the politics of the shooting and was bizarrely lavished with extended applause when he concluded his comments.
"I've never seen anything like this," Kayyem admitted when asked for comment. "This was a law enforcement press conference. It was supposed to disclose information relevant to the public and the media who could then determine what's relevant."
"We have a debate here at CNN, I get it, about whether we name a terrorist or a white supremacist," she continued. "That is a different debate about whether a public official, who knows the name of the person, is willing to disclose publically before a global audience."
Kayyem also noted that police officials didn't even do the bare minimum of disclosing what type of weapon was used until asked by the press.
"Who is the person and how did they do it?" she insisted. "This is what the job is for public officials. Instead, it was a lot of praise, I get that, that's important I've worked with first responders all my career. It was a lot of praise, a lot of focus on the response and a lot of weird fatalism."
"The FBI guy, the governor, the police chief, all about 'we'll be here again, we'll be here to support each other,'" she continued. "As if we have no control over what is happening in this country with these guns."

Trump obsesses over Mar-a-Lago during FEMA briefing even though hurricane has changed course
President Donald Trump sought reassurance from FEMA on Sunday that Hurricane Dorian would not hit his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida even though predictions show the storm heading north.
At a briefing with FEMA officials, Trump concentrated on the storm's original path, which had it heading across Florida and into the area where Mar-a-Lago is located.
"Let me just ask you," the president said, showing an unusual interest. "Two days ago we were given a really comprehensive briefing and they seemed to think, almost every prediction was that [the storm] was going to go right through Florida and into the Gulf -- actually right across Florida."
"Does that not have a chance of happening now?" he asked. "What do you think the chances that it goes directly straight as the original predictions were?"
A FEMA official explained to Trump that thousands of parameters go into creating the hurricane prediction models, and he noted that the storm could make landfall anywhere from Florida to the Carolinas.
"Even if it's offshore, we're trying to communicate there could be devastating impacts on the coast," the official said.
The explanation seemed to soothe the president's concerns.
"Thank you very much," he said.

'It could have been worse': Trump downplays Texas mass shooting rampage in rambling rant on White House lawn
President Donald Trump on Sunday sought to downplay the mass shooting that left at least seven dead near Odessa, Texas.
"First Responders, law enforcement, the police, the FBI, Governor Abbott, incredible the job they did," Trump opined to reporters on the White House lawn. "It is tragic. But they did it an incredible job under the circumstances. Another very sick person, so I just want to thank you everybody involved."
"As bad as it was, it could have been worse, but it was certainly bad, very very sad situation," he added.
When pressed on gun legislation, Trump argued that improved background checks would not have stopped any of the recent mass shootings.
"We’re looking at a lot of different things," he said, "We’re looking at a lot of different bills, ideas, concepts. It’s been going on for a long while."
Trump continued: "Background checks, I will say that for the most part, sadly, if you look at the last four or five, going back even five or six or seven years, for the most part, as strong as you make your background checks, they would not have stopped any of it. So it’s a big problem. It’s a mental problem. It’s a big problem."

Chuck Todd blames mass shooting epidemic on 'political gridlock' from both sides
NBC host Chuck Todd on Sunday suggested that mass shootings are continuing to plague the U.S. because both Republicans and Democrats are responsible for "gridlock" in Washington, D.C.
Todd opened his Meet the Press program on Sunday by speaking to NBC reporter Garrett Haake about the mass shooting near Odessa, Texas.
"Garrett, in the state of Texas, and I know you’re a native Texan," Todd said, "Governor Abbott, the Republican governor there, a big gun rights advocate in general. This is now becoming a familiar scene for him. Are he and other Texas lawmakers at all having second thoughts about some of their policies?"
Haake noted that as of Sept. 1 Texans will have expanded access to guns due to laws passed by the Republican-controlled state government.
"It’s a very Republican area," Haake said of Odessa. "We’re left where we always are after these conversations wondering what, if anything, will come from this other than further discussion."
"Exactly, political gridlock," Todd insisted.
Gridlock, however, suggests that obstruction from both Republicans and Democrats is holding up legislation to combat mass shootings. In fact, Democrats in the House have passed multiple bills that Republicans in the Senate have refused to vote on.

CNN panel explodes in anger as Rick Santorum defends assault weapons after latest shooting
A CNN panel discussion on yet another mass shooting exploded into anger and yelling after former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) refused to even consider stopping the sale of assault rifles after a massacre in Texas.
Sitting in with "State of the Union" guest host Dana Bash, Santorum was given time to make his case.
"Obviously we have had a lot of horrific things happen and people react emotionally to them, " Santorum offered. "I think what we have found when we actually have these debates, and we think about the consequences of the things being talked about and the particulars, the American public and certainly member of Congress in both parties, frankly back down."
That led DNC Communications Director Xochitl Hinojosa to confront the former GOP lawmaker with the carnage in Odessa and Midland, Texas.
"I put my son to bed last night, he's 11-months old," she told Santorum. "There is a mother who did not do that because her daughter was shot in the face. When is it enough? I'm from Texas. Not even a month ago, the president said let's pass background checks. What ended up happening? He backed down and called the NRA, that's not realistic."
Santorum then jumped in to say that none of the crimes being discussed by the panel could have been stopped by a background check, which set Hinojosa off.
"So you're telling me you wouldn't protect one life because of a background check?" she accused.
"Quit -- stop --quit proposing things that limit people's rights that won't address the problem!" Santorum snapped as Hinojosa shook her head in disbelief. "And the problem, you know very well, is young males and it is a multi-faceted problem and all the left want to talk about is one aspect."

Rick Scott insists Trump is on top of the hurricane: 'He played golf yesterday and got updates'
President Donald Trump is monitoring Hurricane Dorian while he plays golf at Camp David, according to Florida Sen. Rick Scott (R), whose state is expected to be hit by the storm.
"You were at Camp David," Fox News host Chris Wallace noted during an interview with Scott on Sunday. "How involved is the president, how often is he getting updates?"
"We got updates while I was there," Scott said. "He got updates, I know he played golf yesterday and got updates while he was playing golf."
The president has also tweeted about the storm, which could batter his Mar-a-Lago resort.
