It has been horrifying to watch, and CNN, during its coverage of air raid sirens in Kyiv, somehow found a way to make it even worse with this terrible transition to break," Oliver began.

If there's one thing Republicans and the Fox network has been against its Communism and those who promote it like Joseph Stalin and Vladimir Lenin. But when addressing the world last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised those same Soviet leaders with gusto.

“Let’s start with the fact that modern Ukraine was entirely created by Russia, more precisely, by the Bolshevik, communist Russia. This process began almost immediately after the 1917 revolution,” Putin said.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) spoke to a white nationalist conference Friday night where Vladimir Putin was celebrated and Adolf Hitler was praised. The event was a counter to the CPAC conference, hosted by Nick Fuentes, a prominent white nationalist.

When asked why she spoke at the event, Greene told reporters, she didn't know anything about Fuentes or his views. When she began her speech, she shouted out the welcome "Well, hello canceled Americans!"

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell had a difficult time talking to reporters while at CPAC over the weekend. First, it was a CBS reporter who filmed as the pillow magnate wagged his finger. Now, VICE is the one drawing the ire.

"Why don't you ask about Dominion?! Why don't you guys go after them?" Lindell could be heard screaming as people pulled out their cell phones to film the meltdown. "They're the biggest crime family: Dominion, Smartmatic, ES&S, Diebold. They used China — attacked our country, your country you say you're a part of and you don't give a dang about it."

The Fox network and the Republican Party stood in solidarity with Russia and President Vladimir Putin but that has evolved over the weekend.

Fox host Tucker Carlson has been begging Putin for an interview for weeks and the Russian state television networks have been running Carlson's monologues on their media with subtitles.

Far-right podcaster Steve Bannon took off after MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace, who previously served in George W. Bush's White House. According to Bannon, the ex-White House communications chief is a "war criminal."

Bannon is troubled by the support Ukraine is getting from the United States and cable news. According to Bannon, it's larger support for Ukraine than Fox News gave for the Iraq war. Fox frequently said that if people didn't support the Iraq war, they were anti-American, and peace protesters stood with the terrorists. Wallace no longer identifies as a Republican and has denounced her former party.

Voice Of America reporter Fatima Tils posted a video showing a Georgian oil tanker refusing to help refuel Russian ships.

According to the video, the Russian ship asked to be refueled, begging, "Come on, let's leave politics aside." The Georgian ship refused, echoing the military message from those who refused to surrender to Russia on Snake Island.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) ripped politicians and pundits who have bashed President Joe Biden's support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.

The Nebraska Republican appeared Friday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" to discuss the Russian invasion and what steps the administration could take to punish Vladimir Putin for the unprovoked attack, and Sasse smacked the "clickbait isolationists" who have used the situation as a political cudgel.
