Former Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor predicted Wednesday that former employees of the White House likely want to do whatever they can to ensure they'll still have a career in politics. Thus, he told MSNBC, he doesn't anticipate they're going to be willing to give up their careers for Donald Trump.

Mike Pence was told Tuesday that he must testify before special counsel Jack Smith's grand jury dealing with the Jan. 6 attack and the classified documents scandal. He's not the only Trump associate being forced to come forward, however.

But the way they sorted that out and the requirements of my testimony going forward are a subject of our review right now. And I'll have more to say about that in the days ahead."

Federal prosecutor concerned he's seeing more fear of MAGA violence than his mafia cases

Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner said, in passing, that when he was trying cases in Washington, D.C., involving the mafia, he witnessed less security at the courthouse than he did in Fulton County, Georgia and in New York.

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace argued that the actions in New York are coming as a result of former Attorney General Bill Barr using Michael Cohen as the scapegoat for Donald Trump. In Georgia, however, she argued, it is something that Attorney General Merrick Garland should have addressed years ago.

The New York grand jury will not vote on an indictment this week, according to WNBC's Jonathan Dienst. The group isn't meeting on Wednesday, and when they gather on Thursday, they'll be working on other matters unrelated to former President Donald Trump.

Former Trump Org. executive thinks Donald is 'enjoying' all of the court battles

Former Trump Org. executive Barbara Res told CNN on Sunday that she thinks that, to some extent, Donald Trump is actually enjoying all of the legal battles that he's experiencing.

Speaking to CNN on Sunday, Res conceded that Trump is likely feeling the pressure from the investigations, "but not the kind of pressure that a normal person would feel. I don't think he's fearing jail or anything like that. He knows that there's a lot going on, and what he's trying to do is make the most of it with his, you know, incitement of violence and is carrying on about the Russian state and things like that. Trying to feed his base and get and get some mileage out of it."

Alex Jones issues a violent prophecy for Donald Trump's future

Fringe conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has continued with his shows despite owing over a billion dollars to the families of Sandy Hook victims after he lost several defamation cases. On Sunday, he issued a violent prophecy while discussing former President Donald Trump's recent rally in Waco, Texas.

"When Trump came out against nuclear war, I still had issues with him," Jones told his audience on Sunday. "But I said he was better than DeSantis. He just went way ahead of DeSantis, and we'll open the phones up. I know a lot of you are pissed at Trump. I've been pissed as well and — but with Trump, it's not a lesser of two evils. You know what you've got, he's got problems, but the deep state really hates him. He did a lot of good stuff. Do we just sit here and let them install somebody else or falsely put Trump in prison? He's really fighting the deep state and they see him as a threat to their power. They see him as a rival."
