The Justice Department release explained that the effort began in 2014 when he controlled several trading companies while promising a return rate of 12 to 30 percent. The complaint detailed that, in the case of one victim from Florida, Schamens didn't even invest the money he was given.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr was faced with a flood of criticism from his appearance on NBC News Sunday -- but the ratings show that most Americans simply turned the channel.

The young girl with pig-tails asks what "special operations" are and was flat-out lied to by what Oliver called "creepy."

As part of the children's show, the "creepy" Russian explains to the little girl that the special operations in Ukraine are because Russia is trying to establish peace, which is a lie. He then claims that they're not bombing things like schools or residential areas, apartment buildings, or infrastructure like substations.

Activists have shown many different ways to support Ukraine as Russia's invasion continues across the borders.

Over 1.5 million Ukrainians have fled the country for safety. Those who stayed, have been hiding underground in bomb shelters, subways and other places as bombs explode homes.

Among many of the things that NBC News' Lester Holt discussed with former Attorney General Bill Barr was special counsel Robert Mueller's findings in his investigation. When Barr released his four-page summary of the Mueller finding, he explained that he was giving his own kind of judicial verdict that Trump was either "guilty" or "not guilty." The problem, as some pointed out, is that wasn't what Mueller said, nor was it what Mueller's aim was in the probe.

As a former prosecutor and CNN legal analyst Elie Honig explained, Barr outright lied. First, Barr's facts don't sync with the timeline on the Mueller findings and his so-called "summary."

With an air of superiority, former Attorney General Bill Barr explained in an NBC News interview that he was never told to do things by former President Donald Trump. The questions came as a part of the interview with Barr as he travels the country promoting his tell-all book.

While many of the things Barr did made Trump feel like Barr was on his side, Barr explained that he simply did what he did because he happened to believe as Trump did. The perception that Trump was controlling him was entirely manufactured by the media, he explained.

It's unknown when former Attorney General Bill Barr handed his manuscript over to his publisher, but as it is being released, pieces of it are already outdated.

The Daily Beast revealed Sunday that Barr's new tell-all attacks Democrats for "demonizing" Russia's Vladimir Putin. Barr claims that the attacks on Putin were all that Democrats cared about when it came to foreign policy.

The average semi-truck gets about 6.5 miles per gallon, said ArrowTruck.com in an advice post for how to save fuel. TopMark also noted that claims that there are trucks that can somehow get 10 miles per gallon are "a fantastic pipedream."

It was only last year that he posted a video showing himself attacking and assassinating Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and newly elected President Joe Biden. In Oct. 2021, he tweeted then deleted white supremacists and antisemitic meme that made major news back in his home state.

After a slow start Sunday, the convoy of truckers who have sought to bring down the Washington, D.C. Beltway. While there was very little traffic on Sunday, there was one part where the truckers caused accidents.

WTO explained Sunday afternoon that the convoy is camping out at the Hagerstown speedway site, a dirt track about an hour north of the Beltway. Their goal was to drive the 64-plus-mile loop twice before returning to Hagerstown.

Former President Donald Trump won't say whether or not he'll run for president in 2024 because he said it would trigger campaign finance rules that would require he stop raising money into his super PAC. But the Republican Party has made it clear that they'll remain independent if he does announce.
