The Daily Show’s Desi Lydic spent six days watching Fox News’ coverage of former President Donald Trump’s indictment and the comedian lived to tell about, but just barely.

Lydic shared her trauma in a short video The Daily Show tweeted, and the show said “..she's not doing well,”

Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen (D) confessed that he has been very emotional watching what's happening in his state as Republicans sought to expel three Democrats for protesting on the House floor against gun violence.

"It pains me, almost brings me to tears to see what is happening," Cohen said with his voice cracking. "This is a disgrace upon the legislative process to see what is happening. This is a disgrace upon the General Assembly and a disgrace to the state of Tennessee."

On a panel discussion on MSNBC's Alex Wagner Tonight, she explained that this doesn't mean that he's about to flip, however.

One of the major pieces of information that former Vice President Mike Pence could reveal to the grand jury in Washington, D.C. is that Donald Trump was lying on Jan. 5 when he claimed that Pence was firmly behind him for the protest on Jan. 6.

"This could be just one of many, many, many in his own administration — his people, saying that what you are trying to convince us of didn't happen, and we are not going to take steps based on this erroneous case," said Andrew Weissmann — an NYU law professor and former general counsel to the FBI — on MSNBC's The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell.

Special counsel Jack Smith's criminal investigation into classified documents at Mar-a-Lago is compelling, and a bigger legal threat to former President Donald Trump than the Manhattan Stormy Daniels hush payment prosecution, argued former White House lawyer Ty Cobb on CNN Wednesday evening.

"There is so much attention on the Alvin Bragg indictment," said anchor Erin Burnett. "I do know, though, that you think that there is another and a bigger charge more significant charge about to come in the special counsel's investigation into the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, and that you think that Jack Smith will charge Trump with obstruction, and he's going to do that likely within 60 days. Why that specific charge and why that, at this point, accelerated timeline?"

Conservative Charlie Sykes and MSNBC host Joy Reid had quite the giggle over Sen. Lindsey Graham sobbing on Fox News while begging for money for Donald Trump. It's a bizarre moment that has happened before.

There's one factor turbocharging Democrats' resurgence in the Midwest, argued CNN political analyst Ron Brownstein on Wednesday: the Trump-aligned Supreme Court's rescission of Roe v. Wade, and Republicans' subsequent push to ban abortion outright all over the country.

A superior court judge in Delaware overseeing Dominion Voting Systems' $1.6 billion defamation suit against Fox News has ruled that Dominion can subpoena testimony from Fox News leadership, including parent company founder Rupert Murdoch and his son, Fox Corporation CEO Lachlan Murdoch — which Fox News was hoping would be barred from trial. This comes after Dominion has presented reams of internal communications that allegedly show the Murdochs and senior Fox executives and on-air personalities knew election conspiracy theories they were airing were false.

All of this is a serious problem for Fox at trial, Axios media reporter Sarah Fischer told CNN anchor Alex Marquardt on Wednesday.

Tuesday was Donald Trump's first day in court for the Manhattan D.A.'s case over the alleged falsification of business records to hide hush money payments to Stormy Daniels and others. While in court, Trump was given what is called "The Parker Warning."

The transcript of the Judge Juan Merchan's comments says: "If you become disruptive to such a degree that it affects my ability to preside over this case and my ability to ensure that the case is treated the way it needs to be treated for both sides, I do have the authority to remove you from the courtroom and continue in your absence, do you understand that?"
