President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump is in about as much trouble as Allen Weisselberg is, according to biographer Michael D'Antonio.

Speaking to CNN's Jim Acosta on Sunday, D'Antonio explained that the kinds of things that Weisselberg is accused of are similar to things that Ivanka Trump also did while working for the Trump Organization.

Former Manhattan District Attorney chief assistant Daniel R. Alonso and former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner explained Sunday that Donald Trump will likely go through some things as his company faces indictment.

Alonso explained that the recent 15-count indictment alone is serious, but it's early on in the six-month grand jury.

Saturday during a Florida rally, a sweaty President Donald Trump pretended not to know anything about the taxes he was accused of avoiding. But Trump's claims contrast considerably with statements from 2016, in which Trump had another take entirely.

"You know, I think [Republicans] have chosen to put all their steaks and all their eggs in the basket of Trump," said Navarro, referring to the former president. "Worship at the altar of Trump. You know, it's so hypocritical and so unseemly and unstatesmanlike. I was really trying not to have my eyes roll to the back of my head as I read posts from some of these same GOP elected officials who voted against the bipartisan commission threatening our democracy. An insurrection against the peaceful transfer of power, which is such a key part of our Constitution and our government and our democracy."

Far-right activist Allen West moved from Florida to Texas after he lost his Congressional seat, where he took over the Republican Party. But on Sunday, from the pulpit of the Sojourn Church in Carrollton, Texas, West was welcomed to announce his campaign for governor with an extensive speech and campaign video.

"Join us in this fight," said West, inviting the congregation to work to elect him.

Former attorney to Donald Trump, Michael Cohen, spoke to CNN on Thursday about the newly released indictments of Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg. His key takeaways were that if Weisselberg is smart, he'll cooperate with prosecutors.

CNN host Alisyn Camerota was particularly shocked at checks that Trump had signed himself, but Cohen quickly reiterated that nothing ever happened in the company without Trump knowing.

President Donald Trump took a hefty swing at Democrats and Republicans on Wednesday night during Sean Hannity's Fox News show. Hannity previously served as an adviser to the Trump campaign while still working for Fox.

"I call them weak Republicans," said Trump, talking about those dealing with Democrats on the infrastructure bill. "They walk into the White House — I've been watching for four weeks now — they walk in, they meet Biden, he doesn't know what the hell's happening. He's sitting, and they're talking about infrastructure. And finally, they walk out, they have a deal, and the deal is a terrible deal."

Appearing on Fox News' Sean Hannity Wednesday, former President Donald Trump continued to brag about the quick cognitive exam he was given by a now-Republican Congressman.

"We aced it," said Trump. "I think we can say I aced it."

Channel 4 in the United Kingdom published a startling exposé on an ExxonMobil lobbyist who revealed the U.S. senators who he say are key to opposing legislation that might harm the oil industry.

While many oil companies are diversifying with natural gas, it appears ExxonMobil is going all-in battling to keep "big oil" alive and well.

When it comes to former President Donald Trump and the police, Republicans have made it clear who comes first, and it isn't those in blue.

The House voted to confirm the select committee on Jan. 6, much to the chagrin of Republican officials. According to reports, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was whipping the vote to get fewer Republican votes for the measure. Instead, many of the Republicans simply left town to join the former president in Texas.

CNN's Jim Acosta explained Wednesday that the crowd at the event wasn't a rally, although it sounded like it when Acosta shouted a question and was booed. Instead, it was a crowd of lawmakers.
