On Fox News Tuesday, contributor Katie Pavlich went after Vice President Kamala Harris, who is currently in the middle of a tour of Mexico and Central America to address the source of the migrant surge — a trip that many on the right have already declared a failure because Harris hasn't posed for a photo-op at the southern border.

"This is what happens when you choose your Vice President based on gender and skin color, not on talent and expertise," said Pavlich in discussion with the hosts of The Five.

President Donald Trump is at a transition in his life after he lost the presidency, lost his Twitter account, lost his Facebook account, and all other social media accounts, before ultimately shutting down his failed blog. Trump has now lost his top fundraiser, according to BusinessInsider.

A Tuesday report revealed that Caroline Wren, "who played a key role in organizing the January 6 'Save America Rally'" was fired. The report explained that there was a disagreement over who controlled President Donald Trump's fundraising apparatus post-campaign.

On Tuesday, Vice reported that a Doug Jensen, a QAnon-believing Capitol rioter who traveled to D.C. from Iowa, has turned on the conspiracy theory, calling it "silly" and a "pack of lies" in a statement through his lawyer, Christopher David, as he tries to face the charges against him.

It's a significant change of heart from his behavior on that day, when footage showed him chasing a Capitol Police officer in a QAnon shirt.

Christian Kulas was arrested by the FBI today in connection with the January 6 insurrection with the help of social-media images showing him smiling in selfies from the Capitol.

Kulas apparently was a bit more somber during a telephone hearing before a U.S. judge following the arrest. Still, it was conducted virtually from surroundings more comfortable than a federal courthouse.

On CNN Tuesday, DC Metro Police Officer Michael Fanone, whose body camera footage graphically showed him being attacked while defending the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, discussed the new Senate report on the riot — and laid into allies of former President Donald Trump who egged it on with their words.

"I thought it was a good start," said Fanone. "But ... it doesn't go into the root causes. Some of the questions that I still have: Who are these groups that are involved in the insurrection that day? What is their, if any, communication that they may have had with members of their government and their staff? And also, where's the funding for these groups coming from, and what type of communication had they had prior to Jan. 6th?"

CNN host Brian Stelter told Jake Tapper on Tuesday that he had to nearly rewrite his book Hoax: Donald Trump, Fox News and the Dangerous Distortion of Truth for the paperback version because so much has happened since it was first published in hardback.

He explained that about a dozen Fox News staffers came to him privately to say that they were "distraught" over the network's downplaying of the attack on the U.S. Capitol. More recently, the liberal group Meidas Touch gave Fox News just under $200,000 to run an ad with statements from Capitol and D.C. police officers about what they experienced on that day. Fox refused to run the ad, effectively canceling the police officers they purport to support.

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace was once a well-known Republican staffer for President George W. Bush. She then worked on Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign, but since Donald Trump took over her party, she's defected. Now she's arguing that it isn't exactly Trump that is the problem anymore.

"You know, Michael Steele," Wallace said to the former Republican Party chairman, "I just want to put this out there because I hear this, 'why can't we let Trump go?' I let Trump go. It was the happiest day of my life. But the damage that he's done to our country and the fact that he's turned the party into an anti-democratic movement is irreparable, and it's harm that's already done and potentially catastrophic in the damage it could do in the future."

At the top of his Tuesday show, CNN host Jake Tapper addressed some of the missing items the Republicans neglected to investigate as part of their report on the Jan. 6 attacks.

While some have noted that they left out words like "insurrection" and anything related to GOP responsibility, including former President Donald Trump, Tapper noted that there are other important issues that the report neglects.

While traveling through Mexico City, Vice President Kamala Harris' motorcade was swarmed by media crews, with even some camera operators standing on the backs of motorcycles to get a shot, TMZ reports.

Harris was in town to meet with Mexico's President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador. The Vice President has been chosen by President Biden to lead the White House's efforts to address the surge of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.

A Pennsylvania man has been caught posing as a family member of former President Donald Trump as part of a fundraising scam.

According to NBC New York, Joshua Hall raised thousands of dollars, the statement from the FBI explained. He used Trump family identities saying that the family members were helping him raise money. He even used Trump's youngest son Barron as part of his scheme and supporters of the ex-president fell for it for more than a year.

Speaking to MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace on Monday, former director of counterintelligence at the FBI, Frank Figliuzzi, said that it has become clear that the insurrection isn't over.

The conversation was about some of the people who attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and the ongoing effort to downplay the seriousness of the attack among Republican officials. That has now combined with Republican officials who are still attempting to overthrow the election using false "audits" and other legislative ways to overthrow the election.

CNN has revealed the recording of the call between Rudy Giuliani and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky's top aide where the former president's lawyer pressured the country to investigate the conspiracy theories created around now-President Joe Biden.

The call from 2019 took place between U.S. diplomat Kurt Volker and Zelensky's aid Andriy Yermak and happened ahead of then-President Donald Trump's infamous "quid pro quo" where he demanded a "favor" for aid allocated to Ukraine.

A heated debate broke out on MSNBC Monday as Punchbowl's Jake Sherman, former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and Republican strategist Matthew Dowd over Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV).

McCaskill began by threatening that progressives should back off of Manchin because he'll run into the "loving arms of Mitch McConnell" at even the hint of disagreements over the filibuster and voting rights. Sherman disagreed, saying that Manchin over and over again has said that he won't leave the Democratic Party regardless of the disagreements that he has with the party's voters. Manchin leaving the Democratic Party would also significantly diminish his power and control, putting McConnell in control, where Manchin is now the one that inadvertently runs the Senate.
