Like many parents, Heather Belanger has faced new challenges in juggling work and family responsibilities during the pandemic -- but not everyone hears shockingly racist threats from their child's school.

Belanger, a northeastern Ohio parent, received a voicemail March 18 from an employee of Paul C. Bunn Elementary, where her daughter is taking online classes, using racist language and threatening to call children's services because the girl had not logged into her lessons, reported WKBN-TV.

Oklahoma and Florida legislatures have legalized running a car into a crowd of people if one feels "threatened." It's being called a get-out-of-jail-free card for white supremacists and terrorists who want to commit murder during a Black Lives Matter rally.

Indeed, according to Carlson, the jury was tainted by fear of riots if they did not convict, and the public outpouring of support for Floyd amounts to an "attack on civilization."

On Tuesday, the conviction of former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin on multiple counts of murder and manslaughter for the death of George Floyd triggered outrage from the far right.

But one person who did not come to Chauvin's defense was Patrick Yoes, president of the Fraternal Order of Police — a top police union that is usually quick to defend officers' conduct in just about any fatal incident. Even as far as Yoes was concerned, the conviction was justified, as he said on CNN's "OutFront" that night.

An Ohio teen was shot and killed Tuesday when a fight broke out in her foster home. Just as the guilty verdict against Derek Chauvin was handed down, police killed her.

"Authorities said they received a call at 4:35 p.m about a reported stabbing on the 3100 block of Legion Lane," said the Columbus Dispatch. "The caller identified the person with a knife as a female," but gave no other details and hung up.

President Joe Biden addressed the nation after the guilty verdict of Derek Chauvin, sending blessings to George Floyd and his family. But more than that, Biden called for this to be the beginning of the systemic change to put an end to police brutality in America.

In a call, Vice President Harris told the Floyd family, "This is a day of justice in America," adding, "We really do believe that with your leadership and the president that we have in the White House that we're going to make something good come out of this tragedy, OK?"
