'Hypocritical narcissist' Meghan McCain faces furious backlash after raging at Biden’s abortion stance 'while clinging to her AR-15'

Meghan McCain caused a lot of anger across the political spectrum on Monday when she attacked President Joe Biden and invented conspiracy theories about the United States government funding abortions, which it is not.

According to McCain, Biden is doing great spiritual damage to himself by breaking a cardinal sin. Abortion isn't a cardinal sin according to the church. Others on "The View" attacked the hypocrisy of the Catholic church, supporting Republican Catholics who push policies antithetical to the church's beliefs, but the church never stepped in to attack the GOP's communion.

Meghan McCain lashes out at faithful Joe Biden for doing 'great spiritual damage to himself and harm to the country'

"The View's" Meghan McCain lashed out at President Joe Biden for his pro-choice politics and anti-abortion beliefs conflicting with the Catholic church. It's part of an ongoing threat from the U.S. Catholic Bishops, who voted by 73 percent to deny Biden communion for his politics.

It has caused a huge rift in the church over the weekend, with parishioners who saw the church ignore Republican Catholics pushing policies antithetical to the church while Donald Trump was in office. The hypocrisy is something that co-host Sunny Hostin called out, noting that former Attorney General Bill Barr is Catholic, but ushered in the death penalty for federal crimes. Despite opposition to the death penalty, the Catholic church remained mum on it. She also noted that Newt Gingrich cheated on his wife with his now-wife Callista Gingrich, who ultimately became the Ambassador to the Vatican, without complaint from the church.

Trump is keeping Allen Weisselberg close as indictments loom: report

Former President Donald Trump is taking the saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer," to heart. The Washington Post reported Monday that instead of hanging out at his Bedminster golf club, Trump is holding up in Trump Tower to keep an eye on his CFO Allen Weisselberg as rumors of indictments loom.

The New York Times reported last week that sources close to the Manhattan District Attorney's office say Weisselberg's indictment on tax issues will come any time within the next few months. The Washington Post reported that last week, Weisselberg's blue Mercedes slipped into the private garage at Trump Tower, about 40 minutes after Trump too arrived.

MSNBC host takes down 'spineless' Republicans who refused to stand up to dictators while Trump was in office

In just a short 60-second clip, MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan did an epic takedown of Republicans attacking President Joe Biden for what they called caving into Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The right-wing attacks on Biden began even before he met with Putin, with former DNI John Bolton claiming that Biden didn't know what he was doing. In fact, it was Bolton who didn't know what Biden was doing, as Biden wouldn't tell the public his demands of Putin before the meeting.

Democrat Katie Hill ponders another run for Congress after ex-husband attacked her with revenge photos

Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) was the victim of what is being known as "revenge porn," where former partners weaponize photos or videos of their exes to get revenge after a breakup. Such was the case with Katie Hill's former husband, who released nude photos of her after her election to Congress. She quickly resigned, much to the chagrin of supporters and followers who believed she was the victim of an attack, and not in the wrong.

Speaking to Axios, Hill said she's watched Republican members of Congress have major scandals and not step down the way that she had.

Former GOP chair chuckles at how furious Trump will be when he learns Ron DeSantis beat him in straw poll

A right-wing conference over the weekend proved that conservatives are still furious about Vice President Mike Pence not delivering the 2020 election to Donald Trump. But at the same time, they're also not ready to ordain Trump as their 2024 nominee.

During the Western Conservative Summit, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis won the straw poll, besting former President Trump. While Trump was fine with DeSantis before, former GOP chairman Michael Steele predicted that it isn't going to be long before Trump lashes out.

Facts revealed how Trump was able to spy on congressional Democrats' phone records despite DOJ safeguards: report

It was revealed this week that President Donald Trump used the Justice Department to spy on two Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee and the White House counsel. New facts are becoming known about how Trump was able to do it through the Justice Department, which should be a check on illegally using spying against Democratic foes.

According to CNN.com, "the Justice Department's original secret subpoena to Apple, sources say, was an effort to identify people connected with the staffer. Apple provided names connected to the accounts the company had records for, including then-House Intelligence ranking member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), two vocal political enemies of former President Donald Trump. This was potentially the first instance federal investigators knew they had records of the two California Democrats, according to the sources."

'Final straw': Priest warns Catholic bishops their parishioners are furious church is choosing Trump over faithful Biden

Father Edward Beck spoke to CNN on Sunday to explain that the idea by Catholic bishops to punish pro-choice Democrats isn't going over very well with people who are for or against a woman's right to choose.

"I had mass this morning, a few of them actually, and unsolicited, I can't tell you how many people came up to me and were really upset about this," said Father Beck. "I mean, across the political spectrum. And basically what they were saying was, you had a former president who checked none of the 'life issue' boxes for the Catholic church except that he said he would appoint Supreme Court justices that could overturn Roe v. Wade. And that's all that seemed to matter."

Progressive group celebrates Father's Day by calling out Fred Trump's greatest failure: Donald

The progressive group Meidas Touch posted a Father's Day video attacking former President Donald Trump where it hurts, his desperate need for his father's love.

Trump's brother, Fred's namesake, fell out of favor with their father after entering the military and becoming a pilot. Donald Trump ultimately became his father's business heir being handed $10 million for his first investment, millions to bail him out of business flops, and millions more after his father passed away. It's unknown exactly how much money the former president was given but over the years he's certainly lost all of it.
