One of President Donald Trump's former legal pals took to social media Sunday to lament that for the second year in a row, his children won't speak to him on Father's Day.

This year, however, he promised that it doesn't matter because he's still dedicating his life to God, by being loyal to Trump.

Greg Abbott 'certainly' stole border wall idea from me: GOP foe

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott was lambasted today for stealing the idea he just trotted out to build a Trump-style Texas wall at the Mexican border.

The man doing the accusing is former state Sen. Don Huffines, who has already set up a campaign to challenge Abbott from the right in the 2022 Texas GOP primary for governor. Huffines attacked Abbott on Inside Texas Politics, a long-running show on WFAA-TV in Dallas.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has said several times that everything that he knows about the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol shows that the people who attacked the building weren't "armed." But yet another Capitol attacker was handed a weapons charge by the Justice Department on Thursday, according to NBC reporter Scott MacFarlane.

It's news that flies in the face of Johnsson's comments about the attack.

Conservative Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson announced Thursday that he wants President Joe Biden to take a cognitive test to prove his mental stability.

Far-right activist Charlie Kirk caught by ex-congressman in hilarious hypocrisy over Juneteenth

Far-right activist Charlie Kirk was called out by former Rep. Justin Amash (L-MI) for spending years promoting Juneteenth, only to then decide maybe he didn't support it after all.

Among the tweets that Amash posted, just one year ago, Kirk was celebrating Juneteenth, saying that it was made possible by Republicans. That's actually factually incorrect, as there weren't enough Republicans in the House at the time to easily pass the legislation. Republicans needed a two-thirds vote to pass the law, requiring support from the border-state Democrats and members of the Union Democratic Party.

Florida GOP insists typo is to blame after facing brutal backlash for labeling Jewish Democrat an anti-Semite

In a very strange excuse this week, Florida Republican Party Executive Director Helen Aguirre Ferré claimed there was a "typo" to blame for her accusation that all 2022 Democrats in her state were anti-Semitic, Politico reported.

"While @GovRonDeSantis works on policies and signs legislation in support of Florida's Jewish communities, Pelosi calls an anti semitic, @CharlieCrist, a valued leader. Crist, @valdemings & @NikkiFried won't stand up to Pelosi doing nothing to defend Florida's Jewish community," (sic) the now-deleted tweet said.

Anti-Jan. 6 commission Republican now wants an investigation to see if FBI agents were involved

MSNBC hosts have been mocking Republicans for their conspiracy theory that antifa was behind the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. A new conspiracy theory has popped up from Tucker Carlson, saying that he thinks there were FBI agents who dressed up in pro-Trump and militia clothing, bought Trump flags, and attacked the Capitol pretending to be Trump supporters. Presumably, if Republicans truly believed either of the conspiracies, they'd support the investigation into the attack.

Now, at least one Republican agrees that there should be an investigation on the grounds that he wants to know if the FBI was involved.

Another altercation broke out between "The View" co-hosts Thursday when Whoopi Goldberg clashed with Meghan McCain over President Joe Biden snapping at CNN reporter Kaitlin Collins in his press conference after the meeting with Vladimir Putin.
