Speaking to CNN's Jim Acosta on Sunday, lawyer George Conway lambasted the corruption in the Supreme Court as "out there" Ginni Thomas dictates orders to Republicans in states around the country.

"I have to ask you about this," Acosta began. "You mentioned the judiciary. There's the judiciary in this country, the Washington Post obtained emails that show Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, pressing Arizona lawmakers to overturn [Joe] Biden's win in the 2020 election. She wrote in part, 'Please reflect on the awesome authority granted you and ensure a clean slate of electors is chosen for our state. I wish to request a meeting from you to learn more about what you are doing to ensure our vote count is audited and our certification is clean.' I love the use of the word clean there. It's anything but."

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) noted that his Republican colleague appears to be stuck in a world where if he doesn't submit to GOP overlords like former President Donald Trump, he'll lose whatever power he has in the House leadership.

After fighting to become the House Speaker for a decade, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was recorded lying to his caucus after the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. When it was written about and McCarthy was quoted, he claimed that the reporters were lying about him. The reporters published the recording of him saying it, however.

Texas had passed the most extreme abortion law in the country until Oklahoma was able to craft its own. In fact, after Oklahoma became a refuge for women in Texas, the state lawmakers passed three different bans, each growing more extreme.

The first of ten funerals began Friday as Deacon Heyward Patterson was laid to rest in Buffalo, New York, after an allegedly racist gunman opened fire at the Tops supermarket last weekend.

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham confirmed news accounts about her testifying before the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Wednesday.

While CNN reported that she was testifying for the second time, there was little information about why and what was being asked. But on "The View" Thursday, Grisham revealed some of what happened without giving details.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough predicted Donald Trump would help Mehmet Oz cheat in his tight Republican primary campaign, and hours later, the former president did exactly that.

The "Morning Joe" host was off Thursday, the day after he made the quickly realized prediction, but other panelists noted that Scarborough and co-host Willie Geist correctly speculated that Trump would lie about the too-close-to-call Pennsylvania GOP Senate primary as the votes were still being counted.

Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA) on Wednesday gave an emotional speech about her struggles to get pregnant and the miscarriages she suffered during a four-year effort.

Speaking in the congressional hearing on women's rights, McBath explained that she and her husband tried to start a family on their own and were successful. They were overjoyed until one morning she woke up covered in blood.

After losing the Republican Primary in North Carolina, Rep. Madison Cawthorn gave a speech in a small room of supporters before the race was called. He told the room that the one thing that became clear to him is that former President Donald Trump was a very loyal man to his allies.

"The thing I love about President Trump is that when you get your back pushed up against the wall I found that most people in politics if it's not politically expedient for them they'll turn their back on you in a heartbeat. But no matter what you are facing, when Donald Trump has your back, he has your back to the end," said Cawthorn.
