New Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) began his new job by ensuring that all masks mandates would be banned in schools regardless of what the community and parents want.

REVEALED: Off-duty cop swore he had no choice but to shoot Jason Walker in 911 call

Jason Walker was shot on Saturday by an off-duty North Carolina sheriff's deputy who claimed Walker leaped onto his F-150 truck and broke through his windshield.

The officer, who was revealed Tuesday as Deputy Jeffrey Hash, described the scene as Walker appearing in the street in front of him and that he had to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting him. He says that Walker then jumped on the hood of his F-150 truck. It was the same story he relayed to 911 when he called.

McConnell fumes over Biden comparing opponents of the Voting Rights Act to George Wallace

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) took to the floor Wednesday to attack President Joe Biden after a fiery speech in support of voting rights.

McConnell began by saying that Biden unfairly compared those against the Voting Rights Act to George Wallace, Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis. All of those men opposed the Voting Rights Act and opposed the right for people of color to vote.
