CNN continues its reporting on Capitol attackers and the things that led them to bring violence to the legislative body on Jan. 6. Speaking to a series of true believers about the myths that inspired their riots, one man claimed that former President Donald Trump was "anointed by God."

But it is accused Ohio Trump supporter Donovan Crowl, who is leaving his family in tears while he awaits trial.

Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) was the victim of what is being known as "revenge porn," where former partners weaponize photos or videos of their exes to get revenge after a breakup. Such was the case with Katie Hill's former husband, who released nude photos of her after her election to Congress. She quickly resigned, much to the chagrin of supporters and followers who believed she was the victim of an attack, and not in the wrong.

Speaking to Axios, Hill said she's watched Republican members of Congress have major scandals and not step down the way that she had.

NBC News insurrection reporter, Scott MacFarlane, explained in a video uploaded to Twitter that one thing he has noticed is that the most egregious information in the cases of Capitol attackers isn't in the charging documents, but in their battle to be released before the trial.

In the video, he explained that he reviews every document published in the trials of those who beat police officers, chanted to hang Mike Pence and those who attempted to assassinate Democratic leaders.

A right-wing conference over the weekend proved that conservatives are still furious about Vice President Mike Pence not delivering the 2020 election to Donald Trump. But at the same time, they're also not ready to ordain Trump as their 2024 nominee.

During the Western Conservative Summit, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis won the straw poll, besting former President Trump. While Trump was fine with DeSantis before, former GOP chairman Michael Steele predicted that it isn't going to be long before Trump lashes out.

Father Edward Beck spoke to CNN on Sunday to explain that the idea by Catholic bishops to punish pro-choice Democrats isn't going over very well with people who are for or against a woman's right to choose.

"I had mass this morning, a few of them actually, and unsolicited, I can't tell you how many people came up to me and were really upset about this," said Father Beck. "I mean, across the political spectrum. And basically what they were saying was, you had a former president who checked none of the 'life issue' boxes for the Catholic church except that he said he would appoint Supreme Court justices that could overturn Roe v. Wade. And that's all that seemed to matter."

The progressive group Meidas Touch posted a Father's Day video attacking former President Donald Trump where it hurts, his desperate need for his father's love.

Trump's brother, Fred's namesake, fell out of favor with their father after entering the military and becoming a pilot. Donald Trump ultimately became his father's business heir being handed $10 million for his first investment, millions to bail him out of business flops, and millions more after his father passed away. It's unknown exactly how much money the former president was given but over the years he's certainly lost all of it.

What was just a small demonstration turned violent when a member of the Oregon Proud Boys approached a man holding a sign saying "ANTIFA LOVES YOU" with a heart. The militia member came after the sign with a knife, slashing it. Independent Media identified the older man holding the banner as a Vietnam veteran.

'F*ck Antifa, bro," the militia member said.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has said several times that everything that he knows about the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol shows that the people who attacked the building weren't "armed." But yet another Capitol attacker was handed a weapons charge by the Justice Department on Thursday, according to NBC reporter Scott MacFarlane.

It's news that flies in the face of Johnsson's comments about the attack.

MSNBC hosts have been mocking Republicans for their conspiracy theory that antifa was behind the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. A new conspiracy theory has popped up from Tucker Carlson, saying that he thinks there were FBI agents who dressed up in pro-Trump and militia clothing, bought Trump flags, and attacked the Capitol pretending to be Trump supporters. Presumably, if Republicans truly believed either of the conspiracies, they'd support the investigation into the attack.

Now, at least one Republican agrees that there should be an investigation on the grounds that he wants to know if the FBI was involved.

Another altercation broke out between "The View" co-hosts Thursday when Whoopi Goldberg clashed with Meghan McCain over President Joe Biden snapping at CNN reporter Kaitlin Collins in his press conference after the meeting with Vladimir Putin.

Collins had put words in Biden's mouth, which seems to be a pet peeve of Biden's. She asked Biden why he's "so confident" Putin will do what they agreed to. Biden said that he never said he was confident.

TeJuan Dennis, a business owner, comedian and father of two, was carrying lunch back to the table where his toddler son was sitting Tuesday at Riverchase Galleria when another father confronted him over his own children becoming upset, reported AL.com.

At the hand-off between MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell, the latter explained there was very serious breaking news: former President Donald Trump finally conceded the 2020 election to President Joe Biden.

While it's been eight months since the election, Trump has never been willing to admit that he lost. Wednesday night, however, June 16, 2021, Trump finally admitted it's over and that he wishes Joe Biden a successful presidency.
