Marjorie Taylor Greene wants us to focus on 'evidence of war crimes or treason' — not leak

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is doubling down on her defense of the man who has been charged under the Espionage Act for his alleged release of confidential military documents.

Just one day after complaining that Jack Douglas Teixeira was being treated as a “traitor and criminal” and crediting him for “exposing the truth," Greene posted on Twitter that the true focus should be on the content of the leak, and not on the 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guard member who allegedly leaked government secrets in an online discord group.

'Trump-induced idiocy' has completely infected the Tennessee GOP: former Bush speechwriter

Peter Wehner, a former speechwriter for President George W. Bush, has taken stock of the Tennessee Republican Party and has found that it has completely succumbed to the malign influence of former President Donald Trump.

Wehner begins his latest essay in The Atlantic by delivering a scathing assessment of the party's decision to ouster of Black Democratic State Reps. Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, taking particular exception to Republican House Speaker Cameron Sexton, who argued that what the two Democrats did to merit expulsion might have been worse than the violent riots that broke out at the United States Capitol building on January 6th, 2021.

Marjorie Taylor Greene buried by former colleague for 'really sick' defense of accused Ukraine doc leaker

Appearing on CNN on Friday morning, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) hit out at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for racing to Twitter to praise and defend Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira, who was accused of leaking classified military documents.

Just hours after Teixeira was taken into custody, Taylor Greene -- who opposes military aid to Ukraine -- blasted officials for arresting him, writing on Twitter: "Jack Teixeira is white, male, christian,[sic] and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime. And he told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more. Ask yourself who is the real enemy? A young low level national guardsmen? Or the administration that is waging war in Ukraine, a non-NATO nation, against nuclear Russia without war powers?"

‘Lying Loser Letitia’: Marjorie Taylor Greene insults N.Y. AG after Trump testifies

Donald Trump spent Thursday in a New York courtroom testifying in a civil fraud lawsuit, and although it’s not clear how it went from a legal standpoint, the former president at least got to rehearse a campaign talking point.

Specifically, he compared Teixeira to Julian Assange and Edward Snowden, and said that, "Maybe it's just the US government is a bad actor."

Tim Scott’s 'weird' presidential committee got off to a 'grossly dishonest' start: conservative

On Wednesday, April 12, Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) announced that he had launched a presidential exploratory committee. Scott's admirers welcomed the announcement; they see him as a conservative Republican with a positive vision and a less divisive, less combative figure than former President Donald Trump or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (who appears to be gearing up for a presidential run).

But Never Trump conservative Amanda Carpenter has a very different view of the South Carolina Republican. In a biting article published by The Bulwark on April 13, Carpenter argues that Scott is much more MAGA than his cheerleaders would have us believe.
