The comedy shows lined up Monday night to dance on the grave of Tucker Carlson, who has now been ousted from three cable news networks.

The Daily Show's treatment of Carlson, featuring guest host Desi Lydic, was in the same vein as the Lincoln Project's "In Memorium" video.

One of Fox's former hosts who fell from grace, Bill O'Reilly, said that he knows the truth about what happened at the network, despite no longer working there or being on the inside with the network.

At least one report claimed that the decision was made between Lachlan Murdoch and Suzanne Scott on Friday evening after the tough legal week that the company had.

On Monday night, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow looked at a series of right-wing radio and television personalities — from Father Charles Coughlin all the way to Tucker Carlson. She urged viewers to look at the group as a whole and their impact on history.

"What you see over, and over, and over again, and I don't know why this hasn't sunk in and become a thing we make fun of these guys for — it becomes quite clear dominance inside far-right media doesn't turn into dominance anywhere else," said Maddow.

MSNBC Nicolle Wallace began her second hour on the recent reports that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will be announcing potential indictments between July and September and is urging officers to be prepared for attacks at the county courthouse.

House Select Committee investigator Marc Harris was behind the electronic voting machines piece of the probe and he thinks that the Fulton County case "draws heavily on some of the material that's come out in the litigation in Georgia and the Curling vs. Raffensperger case that's referenced in the letter."

For those who have faced off against former Fox News host Tucker Carlson over the years, his downfall is now bringing his detractors together to dance on the grave of his Fox News career.

Everything from his promotion of the white nationalist "great replacement theory" to his war against M&Ms for the cartoons' outfits and perceived gender of the candy with no gender.

"The View" co-hosts cracked up at a video clip of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis brushing off concerns about his poll numbers with an odd facial expression.

Host Whoopi Goldberg could barely contain her laughter long enough to introduce the video clip, which shows DeSantis during a visit to Japan responding to concerns about his polling against Donald Trump by opening his eyes wide and shaking his head from side to side.

At the start of his Sunday show, John Oliver took a moment to congratulate a local Tennessee news team that managed to make Republican state Rep. Scotty Campbell short-circuit on live television. It turns out he was caught in a sexual harassment scandal alleged by one of his former teenage interns. It's one of many humiliations hitting Republicans in the state after they picked a fight with three Democratic lawmakers.

While the news station asked Campbell about the allegations, the lawmaker asked if he could have five seconds, chugged his coffee, and then asked which camera he should look into. While he has since resigned, Oliver noted that it was something special to watch a Republican live on camera as he realizes his political career is over.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough called out Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Monday for letting his emotions get the best of him during a conversation about abortion rights.

The South Carolina Republican lost his temper Sunday with CNN's Dana Bash after she corrected him over a claim he made about late-term abortions, and the "Morning Joe" host wondered why Graham was so personally invested in laws regarding women's health.

On Sunday evening, Arkansas Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders launched a new campaign that was meant to be an attack on transgender women, with an insult about them not being "real women."

But it didn't work out quite the way she thought.

A Florida couple was delivering groceries for Instacart when they were shot at after driving to the wrong address. The incident, which occurred on April 15, is just another in a line of accidents that have turned violent.

For Jan. 6 attackers and pro-Donald Trump followers, Ray Epps is a villain that caused the attack on the Capitol. Ironically, Epps was a passionate Trump supporter when he went to Washington for the Jan. 6 rally. He was a loyal Fox viewer too. But, after becoming the GOP's boogyman, he's changed.

Speaking to "60 Minutes" on Sunday, Epps, a former Marine and Oath Keeper, explained he is in hiding, because his fellow MAGA supporters are now sending death threats. He and his wife were forced to sell their home and go on the run.

Americans still don't know the specifics about the indictment and charges against former President Donald Trump from the grand jury and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Media outlets have been working on getting the information and argue that cameras should be in the courtroom during the trial.

Those supportive of Trump believe that the case is a "witch hunt," and there's a concern that a conviction could prompt further conspiracies among his flock.

"The View" co-hosts agreed that many of the most hateful comments on social media are hurled by users who describe themselves as Christian.

During a discussion on the ongoing epidemic of gun violence, including a recent series of shootings of victims who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time, co-host Sara Haines blamed a variety of factors -- including a basic lack of empathy.
