PHILADELPHIA — Escaped convict Danelo Cavalcante attempted to contact a former coworker in the Phoenixville area Saturday night, Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens told reporters Sunday afternoon. Bivens said the former coworker, who lives in East Pikeland Township, wasn’t home when Cavalcante showed up. After reviewing doorbell footage, the former coworker contacted police. The doorbell footage included video and audio of Cavalcante, Bivens said, but police have not decided when or if they’ll release it to the public. Legal experts destroy Republican argument that Democrats deployed a fake electors plot 60 years ago

One of the excuses Republicans have been spinning about the fake electors' plot in states like Michigan, Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia, is that they were simply copying a tactic used by Hawaii during the 1960 election between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon. According to legal experts, however, it doesn't hold up, USA Today explained Sunday.

In the case of Hawaii, the election was 150 votes apart, with Nixon ahead. As those who recall Florida in 2000, elections that close in most states trigger an automatic recount, not to mention lawsuits. In the case of Donald Trump in 2020, those lawsuits had already unfolded and they lost them.

GOP Rep. knocks Marjorie Taylor Greene for knowing more about CrossFit than the Constitution

Greene attacked Buck on Tuesday in a thread where she posted a letter Buck sent to other Republicans in the Colorado GOP. It was a response to a complaint sent by a constituent claiming that Jan. 6 defendants are being held without bond and are political prisoners. Buck alleges in the letter that the constituent made many unsubstantiated allegations that Buck attempts to dispute.

'Checkmate': Ex-FBI official says Fani Willis just nailed Trump for fans' threats to jurors

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis submitted a filing Wednesday that asked the judge overseeing the 2020 election case to grant protections for jurors and others associated with the trial. According to Willis, there is a very high threat level after grand jurors were targeted by online Russian actors and Donald Trump's supporters.

Speaking about it, MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace explained that the now Russian-hosted website, Parler, is doxing Willis and others, meaning personal information is posted on the internet with the intention of encouraging someone to inflict harm.

'President Trump' tells judge he 'may' ask that his Georgia case be moved to federal court

Donald Trump alerted his judge in the Georgia election case Thursday that he is considering his options, Lawfare's Anna Bower revealed. In the filing, Trump's lawyer, Steven H. Sadow, referred to the former president as "President."

The one-page document tells Judge Scott McAfee: "President Trump hereby notifies the Court that he may seek removal of his prosecution to federal court under 28 USC 1442 and 1445. His written waiver of arraignment was filed on Aug. 31, 2023. To be timely, his notice of removal must be filed within 30 days of his arraignment."

Prosecutors tried to find her for other cases, but failed. In the defamation case of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, Politico said they searched for Friess for months, but claimed she'd “vanished.”
